Cute bakery with tranquil atmosphere - Edit
This bakery/ cafe is the perfect place to visit if you want to escape the bustle of the city for some time. This bakery offers delicious food and drinks, free Wi-Fi and a cozy atmosphere to relax. I purchased a vegan cinnamon roll and a soy milk hazelnut hot chocolate with whipped cream (both soy milk and vegan whipped cream were a separate up charge). Unfortunately they do up charge for vegan modifications such as: milks, creams, the use of vegan mixes etc.

Lovely cafe - Edit
The porridge was really good. They were out of a lot of things when I was there but maybe that's a mid-week thing. The staff was very nice and it's a comfortable spot to relax

Couldn't rate this wonderful place highly enough - Edit
This amazing place is vegan and milk allergy friendly. The coffee us the best in Edinburgh and the menu hosts a perfect range of sweet and savoury treats! The waffles are vegan and are so incredibly tasty, with a wide range of topping options! The porridge bowl is always delicious too. For a savoury option the soup is always vegan and full of goodness and can be accompanied by a fab vegan cheese toastie! The staff are so so friendly and the atmosphere is great 😊

Yum porridge!! - Edit
We had a great porridge here with loads of maple syrup, was delicious!! White hot choc was yum also. You do have to specify which milk you want for the porridge though.

Can‘t believe I forgot to rate the BEST café in Edinburgh. Although we went there in 2022, I still think about this cafe 😁 The vegan waffles and the Latte were amazing! The café has a wonderful charm and atmosphere and I love that it is dog friendly! I hope we can come back soon ☕️🤎

No vegan pancakes or waffles - Edit
This cafe no longer has vegan pancakes or waffles, plus they are not done in house - both are pre made, wrapped in plastic and just warmed at the cafe.

I was at the cafe in early December and I was told by the waitress that none of the pancakes or waffles were vegan. Other ppl arrived after me and were told the same. I am giving the information that was passed on to me by the staff. The only vegan food on the cafe were two chocolate cakes and the toast with jam for breakfast.

Hiya!
Read moreI’m sorry that this information was given to you & thank you for clarifying. We might have been sold out on that day or the staff member misinformed.
We have now cinnamon buns , 2 cakes out every day ( all vegan ) and also the falafel hummus toasties as well as the soup ( all vegan ), vegan waffles & the porridge bowl
Hope you pay us another visit !

Yes I was told they stopped doing vegan pancakes when my friend and I went there every week specifically to get them. It spoiled our lunch and I was very disappointed and still am. It’s not hard to offer vegan pancakes options.

Coziest spot in Edinburgh - Edit
The whole feel of this place was so nice after a long day of walking around the city. The owner was so nice and checked in on us multiple times. Plenty of vegan options but make sure you clarify when ordering your drink. I ordered the flamingo which did not have as strong of a taste as I would have liked but still good. The vegan biscoff cheesecake was amazing!

Delicious waffles - Edit
Cute little coffee place with great waffles. What more can you ask for? Perhaps a better indication of what's vegan and what's not. I had no way of knowing what toppings were vegan.

4 stars purely for the waffles! - Edit
Waffles were honestly the best I’ve had since going vegan - proper Belgian waffles and they were amazing!! Service was a bit of a let down - ordered a chai latte which they didn’t have, and no banana or raspberries for the toppings I ordered so they had to improvise. Oh and I actually ordered pancakes, but ending up with waffles was a happy accident as they were so delicious!

Yummy waffles - Edit
Such a lovely cosy place. Most of the offering is vegan, but there are a couple of non-vegan items on offer so make sure to check before ordering. I had the waffles which were so colourful and yummy! The café has a nice community feel, and the owner is so welcoming. Worth a visit.
