Yummy vegan cupcakes - Edit
Lola's cupcakes is a blue stand situated on the right hand side of North Greenwich station as you exit to the O2. Although it stays open until 21:00, the vegan cupcakes seem to run out several hours earlier. Today, I got the last 4 at about 16:30. There were 3 vegan flavours: raspberry passion fruit, caramel crumb and red velvet, in a separate section of the display and identified by gold foil. Unfortunately, there was only one raspberry passion fruit, as that's my favorite; very fruity and not too sweet. The caramel crumb and red velvet were OK, but I'd prefer more fruity flavours, lemon perhaps.

Cons: Vegan cupcakes run out early- please make more!, Would like more vegan fruity flavours

Yummie yummie - Edit
Yesterday, I had the red velvet in another Lola's stand. Today, I went for the pistachio and salty caramel.
Read moreThe cupcakes are truly amazing: full of flavour, light, fluffy topping. I was surprised though to find out the pistachio cupcake had a chocolate base, it was not my cup of tea.
Vegan cupcakes are recognizable by their golden cupcake case.
And now: I'm ready for vegan brownies too!

Chain review - Edit
I have walked past it a few times, usual vegan options. Its tucked away in the corner of the station which is nice because it gets super busy in there due to the O2 but you dont feel stampeded when ordering.

Which cupcakes did you order and/or which were your favorite or your least favorite? Would be helpful for other HC members to know, especially given the 3-star rating. Seems their cupcakes aren’t great given your rating. :)

Hi, nice to hear from you again. My favourite one is the chocolate one but ive also tried the strawberry one and red velvet ones. I’m not a massive fan of red velvet so I didnt particularly enjoy that one but thats personal preference. Ive heard good things about their pistachio flavour from friends but unfortunately I dont like pistachio either - could be good for others to try though! I do find theyre a bit small and the selection available at different stores can really vary which can be disappointing
