-aloo made vegan - 8.5/10 great
-plain dosa made vegan - 9/10 great
-masala dosa made vegan - 9.5/10 excellent
-naan vegan - 10/10 great
-vegetable balls made vegan - 10/10 great
-corn made vegan- 9/10 great
Loved how veganizeable the entire menu was apparently, including the dosas! The menu didn't say that, but that what was insinuated. Would be great to see the vegan options as the default on the menu in the future, rather than just a V next to it, meaning 'vegan version' of that dish availabile upon request. Also because that could be interpreted as an already fully vegan dish by vegans.
Good service & marked vegan options and what we ordered was decent. However it was disappointing that they couldn't offer vegan dosas as they use ghee in the batter which isn't even in the traditional dosa recipe.
Prices are too expensive for the quality and service. - Edit
Average cost for a couple of starters and a couple of curries with one drink each came to £22 each with service. For that you could eat quite well in central London. The prices and the level of service and quality of food and decor are not matched.
Delicious vegan options - next they need to switch to vegan paneer & dairy - Edit
Good range of vegan options clearly marked.
Delicious food - every dish we had was great.
No vegan dessert options.
They need to switch to vegan paneer & dairy. This could easily be a great 100% vegan restaurant. Then I'll update to five stars...
