A must go place in LA - Edit
We went here with a group of five people, only two vegans and everybody just loved it. Seriously some of the best vegan food I’ve had in my life. Great atmosphere, amazing food and really good service as well. I can only highly recommend anybody to go here

Wonderful food - Edit
Maybe the best vegan meal we had in LA. Save room for dessert - the sticky toffee pudding was my highlight (after the sprouts). High prices and not-huge portion sizes, but very special cooking. Lovely simple, cosy space too.

Never Disappoints - Edit
I have been to Little Pine on multiple occasions and I have never been disappointed. The food is so delicious AND 100% of the proceeds to go animal organizations. The staff is so wonderful and helpful. The atmosphere is very intimate. Some of their food really tastes like meat and I cannot figure out how they do it, they are a completely vegan restaurant. Definitely worth trying out whether you have been vegan for a long time or are just started to get acquainted with it.

I love everything about this place. It fits in so well within the neighbor hood. The interior design and setup is calm, cozy, and simplistic and clean in its design! We came right when it opened and they took us right in. The service is excellent and food is out of this world! The small plate sharing is a wonderful idea. We ordered many unique and delicious plates including the s’mores ganache for dessert! I would absolutely come here again, with friends/family and even order some of the same dishes again because they were so good!

Outstanding - Edit
Well worth the traffic-heavy drive through LA. Beautiful cozy restaurant with amazing food. Faves are Mac and cheese, smashed potatoes, and pizza (and more, everything I have tried there has been amazing). A bit pricey but all proceeds go to animal organizations so well worth it, and great for a nice date night out.

Had dinner here the other night and although not everyone from our party was vegan everyone loved the food.
Read moreWe especially enjoyed the housemade mozzarella- best vegan mozzarella I ever had, the charred broccolini, fried cauliflower, fennel flatbread pizza and the gnocchi. And the deserts are amazing too, the banana cream pie is to die for.

Delicious food and my 5 kids beg to come here. Love it for brunch but everything on menu is great. It gets busy - even with reservation there is often a wait. It’s very expensive though so hard to go often.

I decided to try this place out after seeing them on Instagram and I was pleasantly surprised! I only tried the Mac and cheese on the menu but it was so delicious. Unfortunately I wasn’t too hungry when I was here but I’ll definitely be back to try their other items!

Amazing - Edit
We took my mom here for Mother's Day brunch. I got the tofu scramble which was amazing! We also got a variety of their baked goods to share. They were all so amazing. Their biscuits tasted like homemade buttermilk biscuits (not too light or too dense), their croissant was flaky, and their cinnamon roll was perfection! We are dying to go back for brunch and dinner. And if this restaurant wasn't perfect enough, all proceeds go to animal rescues!

Amazing family style dinner - Edit
All the food was amazing and I loved how it was family style, such a cool atmosphere. They encourage you to get more than one thing per person in order to have enough food. For two people we got the mushroom crostini, piccata, risotto and banana cream pie. It was enough food even without dessert. All of it was amazing, especially the crositini and piccata. I'm looking forward to going back for brunch some time.

Little Pine is so dang charming. My husband surprised me for my birthday dinner and boy oh boy did he do a good job.
Read moreFirst of all this is Moby's restaurant which is awesome.
Second everything is vegan (which is my jam).
Third you could totally bring carnivores here to teach them how amazing vegan food is.
Fourth (shouldn't have started by numbering, this is gonna get weird with a long list) the drinks were so quirky and yummy.
Fifth the ambiance is truly lovely. Hip, classy, cozy.
Sixth (and arguably most important) all proceeds go to animal organizations!
Such a great spot!

Best Brunch! - Edit
The biscuits and maple butter are just wonderful! We’ve tried much of the brunch menu and it’s all really solid. Family favorites are the French toast, tofu scramble, and grilled cheese/tomato soup. Service is amazing, background music is awesome (enough to notice), and we appreciate the dog welcoming patio.

AMAZING - Edit
This place was so cute and amazing food. Small restaurant and very busy, recommend making a reservation beforehand. The food was unreal. My mom who is not vegan was amazed on how it tasted like non vegan food. We got the stuffed shells which could have been one of the best dishes I have ate since going vegan. Also the smashed potatoes are so tasty and the flatbread sausage pizza. The deserts are amazing too. This a must go place.

I'm usually not a huge fan of shared plates, but my friend and I went last night and had a great time. We got the mushroom crostini, the sriracha glazed brussel sprouts, and the stuffed shells. Everything was amazing and it was just the right amount of food.

The staff is very friendly and nice.
I took the Caesar Salad, which was amazing and especially the crispy chick peas.
After that I ate the quinoa mushrooms, which had an exceptional and great taste.
As dessert I took the banana cream pie, which was wonderful now it was pretty consistent, it required some effort to finish it.
A most do vegan in Los Angeles, my favourite one!

Eating here is a MUST! - Edit
Little Pine is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is outstanding and the ambiance is charming and unique. I have visited here several times and am never disappointed with the food! It is a little pricey when you order several items, but it benefits animals so I don't mind at all. I've had the Mac n Cheese, several salads and have had some of their breakfast dishes. The food is rich and savory. It is an absolute must visit! You will not be disappointed!!

Amazing gourmet vegan! Pretty much the best! - Edit
As a new vegan, I'd have to say this restaurant replicated every dish perfectly to the point where we swore they were not even vegan!! We had a savory flatbread made with sausage that was not "soyish", piccata deep fried "chicken" in buttery and lemony caper sauce, Ravioli with a rich sage ricotta, A watermelon and buffalo cheese salad (how the heck did they do that???), kombucha, and a peanut butter ice cream with a dark chocolate brownie.

Honestly I can't stop thinking about our brunch this past weekend. Everything we tried, and we tried a lot, was just amazing. My favorite was the egg salad sandwich but the sausage sliders were a close second. If you're looking to indulge try the cinnamon roll. The donuts looked amazing as well but alas, they ran out before we could try them. Probably better as the looked like they would put me in a diabetic coma. Can't wait to go back!

Had a great dinner here with my non vegan partner, we had the smashed potatoes and mushroom crostini to start both were excellent. We then got the gnocchi and ravioli for a main I preferred the ravioli but both were very tasty. Dessert was definitely the highlight of the meal for me, we had s'more ganache it was insane 🤤 the meal was very reasonably priced too!

Excellent! - Edit
We drove two hours from Palm Springs to celebrate my partner's birthday with dinner at Little Pine. We tried an assortment of dishes (to make sure we would have leftovers) and the standouts were the mushroom crostini (with delicious basil pesto), the broccoli arancino cakes (with wonderfully moist risotto filling) and the fabulously tangy key lime cheesecake with whipped coconut cream. We also enjoyed the crispy smashed potatoes, mac and cheese and flatbread pizza with housemade vegan sausage. The only disappointment was the gnocchi - gummy texture, bland basil sauce. Wish we had ordered the stuffed shells instead. Service and ambiance were good and we enjoyed our special evening out. If we lived in L.A., we would be regulars!

Disappointed - Edit
I really, really wanted to like this place – first of all I like Moby's music and respect that he's a vegan and is outspoken about it.
Read moreI went there today, Saturday, and wanted to try a taste of the tomato soup to see if it was something I would like before ordering. I have NEVER gone to a restaurant where they wouldn't allow you a taste of whatever soup they had. But yes Little Pine policy does not permit the wait staff to give customers a taste of the soup.
I asked if they had wheat bread as I was considering ordering a cheese sandwich and learned that they only have white bread. I was disappointed again but went ahead and ordered the cheese sandwich and tomato soup. The sandwich was so-so and the soup wasn't very good at all.
My waiter was apologetic and seemed frustrated by the fact that he was not allowed to give me a taste of the soup.
There are many vegan organic restaurants in the Los Angeles area including Leonora's and Sun Cafe, as well as Real Food Daily, so luckily my decision to not go back to Little Pine doesn't leave me high and dry when it comes to nearby vegan restaurants.
Pros: Friendly and professional waitstaff.
Cons: Not a lot of variety on the menu, Will not allow a taste of the soup, Hard to find parking
