Absolutely brilliant! - Edit
So yes, Moby is one of our mates but this 5 star review is so well deserved and here’s why; First and foremost Little Pine gives ONE HUNDRED PER CENT PROFITS to animal welfare organisations. 100%!!!!! I don’t know if any other restaurant doing that. That alone merits 5 stars but even if that weren’t the case the food is just so divine that it would still receive 5 stars from me.
Read moreThere are so many amazing things on the menu but my favourites are; garlic gnocchi, stuffed shells, artichoke spinach ravioli, the mac n cheese then the brunch menu is off the hook too, favs include the lemon pancakes, French toast and avocado toast. My kids love getting the tomato soup and warm crunchy bread to go with it.
With wonderful staff, a fantastic vibe and food made with love, Little Pine is in my top 3 favourite restaurants of ALL TIME.
Pros: All proceeds go to saving the lives of animals , The vegan food is the best around , They have the friendliest staff
Cons: Parking can be tricky, allow an extra 5/10 mins

One of the best in the world! - Edit
100% of profits go to fighting for animal rights! I mean that right there is reason enough to check out little pine. The Owner Moby is a dear friend and one of the most compassionate guys I know. Our entire family absolutely loves this place. ALL of the food is top notch and delicious! Big fan of the stuffed shells (like my son Isaac), the brunch and the desserts are insanely good. ♥️

Cons: Nothing. Place is perfection.

Incredible! - Edit
Little pine is maybe my favorite vegan restaurant ever. The have pastas, sliders, scrambles, sandwiches and the best vegan desserts! I eat here all the time and my favorite dish is the stuffed shells. They are big pasta shells filled with vegan ricotta cheese covered with tomato sauce. The only con is that you don’t want to stop eating.

Best experience ever! - Edit
Soo good and soo friendly! It warmed my heart 🥰 went here with nonvegan friends for dinner and they loved it! Beautiful restaurant with a very cosy setting. We had Mac&Cheese, Gnocchi, Piccata and King trumpet for mains and the s'mores ganache as dessert. It was absolutely delicious and the friendly staff made it even better. On top of all this goodness we saw Moby here meeting some friends of him who were dining a table next to ours 😁 A dining experience we'll never forget! 🤗

Best vegan brunch spot in LA - Edit
This is my favorite spot for a weekend brunch with my husband (he himself is omni but loves this place just as much, he says the french toast is just as good, if not better than anything else out there). I havent been dissapointed at all, the service is great and friendly, the coffee is good, and the breakfast items are the best ive had in LA. My favorite items are the biscuits and gravy and the tofu scramble sandwich. Everything is so decadent and savory without that heavy feeling and the prices are pretty reasonable for the area. The best part is the mission and the fact that all proceeds go towards animal sanctuaries and organizations!

We are all made of 5 Stars in here - Edit
Wow, simply wow! That’s what I said when I took my first bite of mushroom crostini for my shared little plate entre. Just to set the stage... I was in mid sentence when I took my first bite then I was thrown Into a vortex of flavor. My friend said at that moment I sat back in my chair and my eyes rolled to the back of my dang head! So if that doesn’t sell you o. This place, nothing will. I astrol-projected on this dang bite! The mushrooms were roasted perfectly and the pesto was an absolute dream! I had no idea what I was getting we were getting to.
Read moreAlso, ordered cocktails which were refreshing and delightful. Wish there could have been more to choose from. I also ordered a beer which was filling and tasty.
Large plate option I ordered was the shepherdess pie; creamy, soft, and amazing. My friend ordered the panko crusted picatta; sweet, Savory, which a sauce that was to die for.
We definitely saved room for dessert. I got the banana cream pie, which was out of this world. Made me feel like floating on a cloud. My friend ordered the s’mores ganache, which was dense and rich.
For sure 5/5 stars because it was a night that was unreal! Highly recommend this to anyone in LA.
Pros: profit made benefits animals , Deeeeeelish food, Friendly and caring service
Cons: Wish there would have been more cocktail options

Such a great place - Edit
Everything here is delicious. We shared four items from
Read morethe menu, and I so wanted to lick the Mac and cheese dish when we were done. The tables were a little close the night we went, and we had pretty noisy neighbors, but the food made up for this. Moby was in the restaurant, sitting right behind my husband, so I got to fan-girl a bit. The downside was my lack of self-control and my gluttony, which contributed to a pretty miserable two-hour drive back to Ventura!
Pros: Delicious food, Cool area of L.A.
Cons: Parking can be difficult , It is on the pricey side

I ate here two months ago and I forgot to review it lol BUT I can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was. All I remember was amazing ravioli and gnocchi, and the most incredible passionfruit cheesecake for dessert. We even came back for brunch the next day.

Vegan Meringue! OMG! - Edit
The most amazing experience for me to taste vegan meringue as I have been plant based since birth. My hubby says it tastes very similar to real meringue. They also have very different type entrees like King Oyster mushrooms as scallops! Love these and several other dishes there. Very romantic setting and profits go to help animal welfare!!

Besides the fact that I love Moby and his compassion for animals, this restaurant was excellent. They had many dishes to share, I had the brussels sprouts, radicchio salad and mac & cheese with my friend. The restaurant is warm and cozy, nice servers. The food was outstanding.

Dinner was AMAZING - Edit
Went to Little Pine during a layover (I’m a Hong Kong based 747 pilot). This was one of the best meals I’ve had recently! Went with a friend and we ordered a lot and shared so we could sample lots of things. My friend isn’t vegan and he LOVED it too! He couldn’t believe vegan food could be so yummy (duh!! Obviously it can! Vegan food is the best in the world).
Read moreThe portions aren’t huge so if you’re hungry you’ll have to order a few things. And then the bill can add up. The Ravioli was SOOOO GOOD, but small so a nice “add on” to your meal; but not filling enough for a main course if that’s all you order. We ordered the Grilled Radicchio Salad, and Arancini (4x broccoli, risotto cakes and AMAZING sauce) as an appetizer. Then 3 main courses (Shepherdess pie, Fennel Flatbread Pizza & Ravioli Alle Noci), and two desserts (Cheese Cake & Apple Crumble). And a bottle of sparkling water. Our bill was $100 total. For a higher-end place, that price is totally reasonable. Servers and staff were so nice! Didn’t get to see/meet Moby, and thank him for all he does for animals! I LOVE that Little Pine is non-profit and donates all their profit to Animal rights organizations!!
Maybe next time I’ll get to meet Moby!
The lighting was dim so I didn’t take any photos to upload. I think that’s why most of the photos on Happy Cow are of Brunch, because it’s too dark to take good photos of your food at dinner time.
Highly recommend.
Pros: 100% vegan menu, Great Ambiance and nice staff, Great variety, so so so yummy & favourful! , 100% of their profit is donated to Animal Rights
Cons: Not open for Lunch/Brunch during the week, A little expensive if you’re on a tight budget

All vegan little oasis in Silverlake is a not miss. Amazing chefs make everything from scratch and the menu changes by seasons. The food is amazing! We never miss Little Pine when we are in town and always try to make brunch. The deserts like the chocolate s'mores is like nothing you've ever had before. Best smores ever and the berry cobbler is a must! Mac and cheese and glazed brussel sprouts is another must and so many others you will not be disappointed!

Thoughtful Comfort Food - Edit
As my varied other HC reviews attest, I regularly eat at vegan restaurants all over. Little Pine is a fun dining experience and worth battling LA traffic to find. We’d reserved a table but that wasn’t necessary as it was a quiet night. As a group we ended up ordering several items and shared them. Highlights were the Caprese Salad (the texture and flavor of the fake mozzarella is unique and where else can you find this on a menu?), flatbread pizza, and the soft shells. We were in agreement that the Panko Crusted Piccata was a bit average. Drinks were creative (recommend the strawberry rhubarb cider). Seemed reasonably priced for the care and attention that went into the dishes, the service was fast and attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was soothing. Go!
