It’s just o.k. - Edit
No TLC at all taken to prepare the meals. Our kale harvest salad had such large pieces of kale in it we had to rip with our fingers to make bite size pieces. The restaurant had many flies in it we had to constantly shew away from our food, that was a huge turn off given all the desserts were out in the open. Nothing special at all, won’t go back.

This little gem can be counted on to always have a tempting treat and a good coffee waiting for you, particularly nice on a weekend morning. The scones and donuts are particular favourites! What’s particularly nice is that though everything is vegan & gluten free, it lacks the cloying sweetness you find elsewhere. Summertime also means quality vegan soft serve is available!
Read moreMost unique (and extremely popular) are the “theme evenings” which sees lineups down the block. One particular example last year, Carnival Treats, was a true pleasure to behold. They also do custom orders for extremely reasonable prices, making it my choice for my birthday ( thankfully hubby got the hint).

Mishmash of stale bread and sugary taste. Ordered many plates and they were all disappointing including sandwiches and cakes. Not sure if this was a one off, but i won't be trying again.

Amazing Soft Serve and baked goods - Edit
Little Jo Berry’s is my favourite place I found in Ottawa. I had their chocolate lava soft serve which is served with a cookie and whipped cream. I also had their smore cookie and chocolate chia cake. Both were delicious and gluten free. The service is incredibly friendly.

They made a waffle dish up for me (waffles with syrup, whipped cream, strawberries and some kind of vegan butter.. it was better than any waffles I've ever had, including before I went vegan. The owner and staff are very friendly. They have paper and crayons at the tables and a wall with the art people have left.
