Average

Quality is just around what you expect to get in a food court.
I’ve eaten there quite a few times. The same dish can vary a lot in spicyness, quantity and quality.

Favourite: Palak Paneer

Pros: Fast, Naan

Cons: Inconsistent , A bit pricy

Very spicy for a person that likes spice 🌶️

I ordered the Dahl, it is served with rice and a small plain salad of lettuce, small cubes of cucumber and tomato. The Dahl itself was so spicy that my stomach was burning and that made it less pleasant to eat.

Besides that I ordered the dish without koriander on top, but they added it anyway. Girl working there forgot my drink and wasn’t very friendly, maybe she had a though day?

Pros: More than 1 vegan option

Cons: Way too spicy

Food Court Class

Little India Kista is in the food court of the Kista Galleria shopping complex. The service was delightful and we were proudly shown the vegan options. The food was suitably flavoursome, a vibrant feast for the eyes and most welcome to eat. We had Bhuna Dhal, Oumph Kaira plus a couple of poppadoms. Condiments were available on the side so we helped ourselves to a delicious lime chutney and the mango sauce. This was such a surprisingly good experience and we will come back for more if time permits.

Pros: Decent pricing, Generous portions , Clean and efficient food court environment

Taste good, service varies

Edit: 2024-02-24:
This review was written years ago, the personel has switched and it is much more welcomeing now and Saravana Bhavan has closed. The Vegan option in the food court is sadly less now then when the text below the line was written. All together I have highered my rating of this place (could still do a lot to be much better though). The amount of option has also increased with a few Oumph based dishes (Which nice if you like Oumph, I don't but I am happy its there)

---

I have had the Bhuna Dal to go on multiple occasions through the last almost three years. It tastes okey, but cannot really compete with the other indian options that now exists in Kista, Sarvana Bhavan is milions of miles ahead of this place. There also is quite a few other places in the food court that can serve vegan food.

The Bhuna Dal also takes sometime, probably because it is not part of the premade dishes. However the main issue with this place is the service, almost everybody that works there is friendly and nice however there is one lady that is super unfriendly and makes people not want to shop there ( I have colleauges that decides if they should get food here depending on who works. Also the cues are shorter when she do not work)

Prices are average in the food court but can feel a bit expensive.
