Warm welcome. Dogs allowed. Fab little cafe. We had to ask if the veggie breakfast could be made vegan and it was happily adjusted. Great coffee. Lovely staff.
Ordered a vegan breakfast here. Was served a vegetarian breakfast. Said to the server we ordered vegan breakfast they looked at it and said it was the vegan breakfast but there was a fried egg on the plate!!! Explained to them it wasn't vegan they said they would make another breakfast. They just went inside and removed egg and gave us the same plate back. Needless to say we didn't eat the food as didn't trust the other food on there was vegan I.e. butter on the bread and there was clearly remains of egg on there.
Has a small, high quality menu and always has something for vegans to eat, sometimes has vegan cakes. Has a range of plant based milk and locally sourced produce. Very popular with both tourists and locals.
They didnt have much choice in vegan options, but they were happy to cater for a vegan. I had an english breakfast here for lunch. The tea was very good, as in many places in England. The atmosphere was really relaxed and cosy. The staff were very friendly.
Some vegan options for food but vegan cakes mainly only on weekends. They had soy milk and at least one other plant based milk. Cute cafe & friendly staff, shame they don’t always have vegan cakes
