Fast, cheap take away food!

So cheap and fast. I think about the tofu wrap atleast once a day.
It's nice to have a quick all vegan take away in Manchester that's the same price (if not cheaper) than the non vegan counter parts!

100% vegan, 100% delicious.

A takeaway with tables and chairs if you prefer to eat in. Fabulous Indian and Bangladeshi food, all vegan, very inexpensive. Example, rice and three curries for £5 (April '18). My favourites? Cauliflower & Potato, Spinach, Dhal. Cheers, Dave W.

Pros: Excellent value for money, fresh, tasty completely

Cons: I can't get there often enough!

Brilliant find, great food.

There was a lot of choice on the menu, and it was great that it wasn't centred on fake meat. The veggie burger was really nice, and the Oreo brownie was lovely. The service was good too.

Pros: Lots of choice, Lovely, non-pretentious food , Good service

Cons: No toilet, No high chairs

Amazing

Visited 25/02/18 with my non vegan boyfriend who loved it!! The mixed veg curry was amazing, the same if not better quality to what would be found anywhere else! My boyfriend loved the falafel wrap and we both had vegan cheese on chips and oreo brownies!! Everything was amazing, service fast and the staff friendly. Perfect vegan place to eat, will be coming back!

Pros: curry, staff, options

Average curry

Met some friends in here for a meal, menu looked good, lot's of choice but when i went to service counter was basically told i was having the 3 curries and rice option, it looked alright but wasn't that great, average curry nothing outstanding. Aubergine fritters were nice, didn't try dessert as was too full.

Pros: all vegan, goodchoice

Cons: easy option pushed onto you

Cracking biryani

All four of us all had the special biryani, at £6.50 each. Two of us had two huge onion bhajis each, too! All scoffed with mango chutney as well as spicy sauce. Cheap and cheerful, for the Northern Quarter. Will definitely visit again.

Pros: Loads of vegan options.

Cons: Not a lot of setting area but it is mainly a take

Tasty, cheap and quick

Just discovered this vegan jewel. The curries are really cheap and filling, but most importantly super delicious! Samosa's were good too and oh my goodness don't even get me started on the brownies 😍😍

Gorgeous

Since turning vegan I find it so hard to get a korma and naan bread but this place is completely vegan and it tastes AMAZING! They always have freshly made brownies too which I highly recommend.

Pros: All Vegan

Quick & good for vegans on a budget

I had given myself a couple of hours in Manchester to rest and eat in the middle of a 10 hour bus journey back to Glasgow. My first place didn't work out due to them stopping the menu early so opted for here - it's really close to Shudehill bus station so worked out well.

I got a naan with a mix of tofu and falafel, as I couldn't decide between the two and it was advertised as an option. In it I got salad, hummus, and - from the range of sauces available - garlic mayo. They also had a range of curries you could order, too. I got chips on the side, which were average skinny fries, but I got more garlic mayo on the side which was delicious.

I did come out smelling a bit like oil so if you're stopping in before a night out I'd advise getting a take away! The person who served me was pleasant and the food was ready really quickly. They have a few tables you can sit at, or high stools by the window. No toilets so you'll need to nip elsewhere, e.g. the Arndale Centre.

I'd definitely go back and have some curry and a paratha or a roti. They have quite a few tasty looking bread options. They also have a jug of water and glasses available for you to help yourself which I appreciated (although I got a juice as I needed some sugar!). They also have brownies and rocky road available to buy if you want a cake.

Great tofu wrap

It's wonderful that this place went fully vegan. I love the tofu wrap, it's simply delicious. I had less luck with the curry and rice, it was simply terrible, as was the naan. However I had a naan wrap before and it was fabulous so I hope I just caught them on a bad day. Support this place.

Curry Cafe

It's not a fancy date-night place, but if you want some cheap and cheerful (and tasty) Indian food then this is your place. The chick pea biryani (£6.50) was great.

Pros: Tasty food, Central location, Cheap & cheerful

good food, quick and cheap

Great place for a takeaway or a quick sit in meal - lots of vegan curries, naan, chips and burgers. All cheap - tasty, not super high quality but good for the price - proper 'takeaway' style food! Portions are massive too!!

Great Value

This is one of my regulars in Manchester for a cheap and fast lunch; before the pub meal; or after yoga. I always have the 3 curries which fill me on their own, but did go for the samosas recently which were fresh, filling and tasty.

Pros: Fast, Cheap

Great value!

I went here every day for lunch when I was in Manchester because it couldn't be beat for a quick bite! I had the tofu wrap which was amazing and also the special (your choice of 3 curries over rice). The staff were also super friendly and helpful.

Little Gem in the City

I don’t often get the opportunity to visit Manchester, but when the chance arose I knew I had to go and support a newly converted vegan takeaway – Little Aladdin’s. Easy to find in the city, just down the side of the Arndale. Small establishment with friendly staff, welcoming and up for a little chat, limited seating area which is understandable as it’s a take away, but the place felt a little beat up.

We ordered the vegetable korma and mixed veg curry and took them home (they packed our meals up well as we explained we live all the way on the coast, but couldn’t miss taking some food home!). The curries were a bit oilier than I like, but the flavours were spot on, especially the korma, so sweet and tasty. Lovely variety of vegetables in both, the korma was a little spicier than they usually are (all the korma’s I’ve come across have no heat at all), but I like my heat so this was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn’t protest at all if I had to go back another time!

Pros: Convenient location, Great selection of meals, Completely vegan establishment

Cons: Seating area needs updating, A little bit too greasy for my liking

Friendly place, tasty food

Apparently it wasn't long ago that this place went totally vegan. Well, I totally recommend it, I was glad I visited! It does takeaways but you can eat in (with proper plates and cutlery). The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a plate of rice with three curries on, followed by a chocolate brownie; my family had samosas and other treats. If I lived nearby I would definitely pop in often for an inexpensive yet really tasty meal.

Pros: Tasty food, Friendly staff, Can eat in

Cons: None

Fab place!

Ate here with friends and and was spoilt for choice. Great flavours and really friendly staff. It was a shame I was so full from other meals I didn't get to try more from the menu. As well as curries, breads, and various starters, he also has vegan desserts!

It's a small eat-in or take-way cafe/diner style place. Good value. Has proper plates and cutlery, not plastic.
