Vegan heaven 🤤 - Edit
Amazing selection of vegan options and enough non vegan options to keep the meat addicted members of the party happy. Ordered the mushroom burger and the crispy crab roll to split with my non vegan grandmother and we both fell in love. Was told by one of the chicken orderers that they'd order the crispy crab roll if they ever came back- so would I! Finished with the chocolate tart which was also quite good.

Decent food, poor service - Edit
Food was ok but waiter was extremely rude. I don’t know his name (he had glasses and a mustache) but after he told us his sushi recommendations, I simply asked if one of the sushi rolls was good and his response was “ I already told you what I recommend, you can order whatever you want” in a condescending and irritated tone. Wouldn’t come back here again simply because of poor service.

Best restaurant in Sarasota - Edit
Food is made from scratch and so yummy. I love the staff, service is great. This is my favorite restaurant to dine at. The wine selection is also very good and selected with care. They offer tasting menus for Valentine’s Day and new years as well that we love to attend. I would give it a five star if I could.

Absolutely amazing food with quite a few options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. They are mindful of portions sizes and are thoughtful in their drink selections. I had the gnocchi sharable plate as an appetizer. It is good size for two. The mushroom bundle with risotto is comfort food that I couldn't stop eating. The Burmese Noodle Bowl was flavorful and served some heat. Service was super friendly! The overall experience was very comfortable with a touch of modern.

Some real gems on this menu - highly recommend all of the Japanese inspired dishes. I could eat the mushroom spider roll and the caterpillar roll every day! I love tofu, but the tofu app was bland (gotta cut this one smaller or marinate it) and the Brussels app was undercooked (not sure how the kitchen missed that one, we could tell as soon as it was dropped). Entrees and dessert were all hits 👍🏼

We vacationed in siesta key where there weren’t many vegan options, but went out to Sarasota one night to try Lila- wow were we impressed! The menu is mostly vegan but had about 3-5 non-vegan options if you are dining out with meat eaters. There was a large variety of different cuisines. My favorite dishes were the mushroom burger and the vegan sushi. So many amazing looking options, can’t wait to eat here again!

Super nice staff. Waitress was great even when serving a large party of us. She was very attentive and organized. Food was Delicious! I just had the Romain salad a gluten free bread on my last visit, but everyone I was with enjoyed all different vegan dishes and loved them. Everything is house made including dressings and sauces.

Read moreWe started with some sharing plates, which were delicious. The dragon tofu was my favourite. We also had the yam wedges and ‘crab cakes’, which were also really good.
I had a BBQ tofu sushi roll to follow which was ok, it wasn’t very flavourful and it was pretty small. I wouldn’t order it again. My husband had the Med bowl, which he enjoyed but probably wouldn’t eat again.
I’m definitely a fan of the sharing plates and would stick to ordering those on our next visit. Really great restaurant though!

lila was absolutely amazing. our waitress was super sweet, and the atmosphere was generally really lovely, kind of upscale but also casually beachy, so i didn't feel underdressed.

for my entree, i was stuck between a couple things, but went with the mushroom burger which was absolutely delicious. the side salad was wonderful as well, really amazing dressing! our waitress said that some of my other choices were her favorites along with the burger, so i know they would have been tastey!
my husband had filet mignon, and he said it's some of the best he's had and the potatoes and asparagus were wonderful as well!
my house lemonade was also perfect and tart!
so many many options, would recommend to vegans and omnis alike!

Great atmosphere and super service. Place has a hip and modern vibe but cozy and warm. Sweet potato wedges and the shaved Brussels sprout appetizers were delicious. We each had a pot of tea. Burmese noodle bowl was tasty with coconut chili broth. Udon bowl was equally delicious. Chocolate tart and chocolate mousse cake were divine and the perfect end to a perfect and healthy meal. Can’t wait to return.

Incredible vegan selections - Edit
Clean & cozy dining space fraught with a bevy of delicious vegan meals. Their program includes plant based sushi rolls, fresh baked bread, a saucy noodle bowl & an unbelievable blueberry cheesecake. This establishment has options for omnivores as well, great date spot or family dinner. Come during lunch as it’s slightly cheaper. I would return here swiftly & often to sample everything on their menu.

I'm a big fan of lucile pizza (sister restaurant to Lila) so I tried them out and they're really great! Tons of vegan options. I got the harissa yams with aioli, incredible. I also got the vegan chickn seitan Caesar wrap and it was good. Not authentic Caesar but the chickn was a great texture. Can't wait to try their sushi.

Primarily vegan with some veggie options. Meat available but have to actively choose to add it which is such a great way of doing it- turn the tables! Huge range of sharing or starters, great bowls and entrees and high quality vegan and gf sushi, and amazing deserts. Everything about this place is awesome. Eat in and take out. Macro bowl was delicious!

Went for carry out March of 2021, vegan burrito with soy chorizo, Asian stirfry with brown rice and tofu, vegan warm brussels sprouts slaw with coconut bacon, tofu blt and the best was the mushroom burger- dessert was a vegan blueberry cheesecake- so very good!!

Lila's food is amazing and so delicious. Celiac and other food allergies I am leaving Lila's extremely satisfied. Sweet potato wedges with cashew mayo and zucchini pasta was magnifique!

Cute downtown location with lots of clearly labeled vegan options. The mushroom burger was delicious. However, I would skip the fries - without the accompanying sauce, they are really nothing special.
