Cosy, small restaurant. Friendly staff and good service. Food was delicious. A bit pricy compared to other places.

Super tasty meal - Edit
We ordered the cactus & celery dumplings, stewed rare mushroom and tofu pot & Kung pao soy protein!
Read moreThey also gave us free tea, but the drinks here looked really good! The service was amazing and the menu was huge!
Most of the savoury dishes looked vegan-friendly but the cakes were named 'vegetarian cake' and not sure if they were vegan. We didn't ask or order any desert.
Other reviews helped us find his place, just down a little side street, go up the stairs and look for the little cute statues outside the restaurant passed Spiderman.
Would eat here again!!
Pros: Great service

Might be fully vegan - delicious! - Edit
Small restaurant at the upper floor of an alley (see photos for directions). We asked the staff to understand if the restaurant is vegetarian or vegan. The cuisine is buddhist and they say they don't use milk or egg, thus, it seemed fully vegan to us.
Read moreWe had two mains plus dumplings and rice for which we paid 250 RMB. Free tea was served at every table. Everything was very delicious and the best dish was the layered tofu! Staff was lovely too and one of them spoke English.
Pros: Peaceful spot, Delicious food, Many options - probably all vegan
Cons: Some dishes are quite pricey

Charming little restaurant with many delicious vegetarian options - Edit
Lovely little restaurant with delicious options for vegetarians and vegans. The owner’s school age daughter was around to offer suggestions in English. A very charming welcoming place in a nice part of town.

Nice setting and staff, tasty food - Edit
This place is in the back of a vibrant dining area, close to Nan Luo Gu Xiang hutong, so it's perfect to visit after you explore all those shops and laneways. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They can't speak much English but it's fine with a translator app. I think the menu is Buddhist cuisine, it's all vegetarian, it's flavoursome and has some interesting things I haven't seen before. The mushrooms and the hibiscus tofu were really good. They serve nice tea as well :)

Great little place in the hutongs - Edit
My teenage daughter loved it. I thought it was ok but could have been more spicy/salty. Very friendly place.
