Great place for some vegan food - Edit
Not many vegan options in the Menden area but this short drive to Unna will not disappoint. We ate here twice and loved it. You pick your small or large plate and fill it up with what’s on the menu that day. Great options and don’t forget to try their desserts 😋

Great food, great place - Edit
We visited Leyka as we drove further south and needed a lunch-break. The food was great, the staff nice and we enjoyed our stay. Great point to start a little visit of the city. PS: The Strawberry-Cake was awesome!

Leyla offers home cooked delicious vegan food from all around the world, 3 - 4 different dishes every day. Furthermore you can get dessert, cake and one or two salads. Very positive athmosphere, you'll feel welcome the minute you walk in. Great naturally flavoured water available.

This small cafe is the only fully vegan restaurant / cafe in Unna and serves coffee, cakes soft drinks as well as a variety of hot dishes and wraps.

Der vegane Mittagstisch war super und der kleine Teller für 7,90 absolut ausreichend. Das mehlfreie Brot war klasse und der zuckerfreie Nachtisch ein Traum!

Es ist ein kleiner gemütlicher Laden, die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich, das Essen ist sehr gut! Es gab ein Spinatcurry mit Süßkartoffeln auf Reis. Das Essen ist den Preis auf jeden Fall wert! Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, schauen wir wieder vorbei!

This place is a small, home-run business. The owner is super friendly, and you feel like you are eating in her kitchen. The range of food options is not great, however. You are essentially getting whatever has been cooked.
Read moreI liked the food, though I can't say I loved it. It was a solid curry, some nice veggies and a really delicious cheese sauce. Nothing outstanding, but a worthwhile experience at a very fair price.
