Cute, but not vegan-friendly

The location is nice, but there were basicly no vegan options, as pretty much everything on the menu contains cheese. We asked for something vegan, and the only option we got was the veggie burger with the cheese removed and the bun replaced by two slices of bread. Pretty disappointing for a vegetarian restaurant.

Cosy vibe, good food, nature playground for kids

The food was casual but still different than your veggie go-to's, and well prepared. The vibe was casual, but very cosy, and I liked that kids were playing in the playground and some brought their dog, but not in a way that you noticed. Just a cosy spot by the water for everyone, overlooking the lake, and little lantarns everywhere.

Pros: All vegetarian and vegan options , Fantastic spot in nature, by the water, cosy light, Casual vibe - kids and dogs roam around freely

Beautiful setting for a summer lunch

Our lunch here was a real treat considering the lack of good vegan food in France. It is a very cute setting on a small organic farm near to the lake and cycle route. They grow many of their ingredients and the food was tasty and satisfying. The only downside is that they have very limited vegan options but did offer to modify veggie dishes where possible.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food, Beautiful setting

Cons: Few vegan options, Limited opening times

Limited vegan options but what we had was tasty and nice atmosphere too

We had a couple of burgers with fries and salad. Portions were good. Was tasty but nothing surprising. Amuse bouche before that which was very tasty and fully vegan.

It came with a non vegan source. The restaurant is vegetarian rather than vegan and there is dairy all over the veggy menu.

Atmos is nice, al fresco and they have a garden where produce is grown.

Pros: tasty burgers, nice atmos

Cons: on the expensive side, not vegan and not that many vegan options

To eat Cynara cardunculus

This restaurant is close to the bikepath around The lake of Annecy.

There were a lot of small flies probably because of perfect weather.

We asked for advice to order a vegan lunchmeal (18 euro) and she recommended the Cardons which could be made with soy (See also the photo of the menu en meal).

We chose the jus of the day (5,50 euro) which was citron-basil.

We found the Cardons more special to eat than tasty, and the portion small with a lot of salad leafs aside.

The drink was delicious but very thin/watery and my husband found a small piece of plastic in his drink.

We have to pay 47 euro’s for 2 meals and 2 juices, which we found too expensive.

The fact that we found plastic was from where the basil was packed in, she said, there was no excuse or compensation.

If you are vegetarian you have a lot more choices but as a vegan I would not recommend this place to other vegans.

Pros: Vegetarian restaurant

Cons: Expensive
