Lots of Vegan Banh Mi Choices - Edit
Lee's is always a reminder of my college days back when banh mi was about $3 - $5 and life was a lot simpler. I wasn't originally planing on grabbing a sandwich until I noticed an entirely new, vegan menu.

Their sandwich was just as I remembered. Fried mock chicken katsu with pickled veggies, jalapeños, and cilantro tucked inside a toasty baguette. I honestly can't remember if there was an actual spread inside since I ordered the vegan option, but it was still a good enough sandwich. I'm surprised to see that they offer mock meats now but it was definitely worth a try.
For the price though, I likely won't be returning anytime soon. I don't know if I can justify spending nearly $20 on a sandwich again that used to cost me less than $10, even with how crazy inflation has been over the years.
Pros: Plenty of dedicated vegan options
Cons: Pricy considering it's a chain
