麗姐素菜館 is a basic little veggie food eatery in Samphantawongse (China Town), next to Check Inn Chinatown hotel. Look for the red & yellow "jay" flags (vegetarian). Everything on the menu (with pictures) is supposed to be vegan, made with tofu, noodle, and rice. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-5:30pm.

Delicious - Edit
Really good food! Great variety, even though you have to chose by picture. Spot on where it says it is in the map and in a fairly quiet side street to get a few minutes of quiet. Would come back anytime!

Disappointing - Edit
I came here during a trip to China Town after reading many positive reviews, however, I found the food quite disappointing. I got the stir fried noodles with water mimosa and they were just salty and oily, didn't have much flavor. The portion was really small as well. I suppose this can be justified by the price (60 thb), even though you can get decent portions of street food for the same price elsewhere.

Variety of dishes on the menu - Edit
This vegetarian food stall is a bit hidden so better to follow the navigation to find it.
Read moreThe place it not very big but they manage to create some nice seats to sit and eat.
They have a quite extended menu to choose from.
Difficult to make choice especially when you can already see the delicious displayed food and smell from the kitchen.
We went for some nice macaron style dish, fried rice and a morning glory dish. Everything was very tasty with lots of flavors.
I was also allowed to have a look in the kitchen while our food was prepared. It was very nice to see the entire process from cutting to frying to the end result on our plate.
It’s always nice to have a little tray of spices on the table to adjust to each and everyone’s spiciness level.
I would recommend and go back to try out other dishes from the menu!

Delicious food in Chinatown - Edit
Everything was vegan. Really good food and nice english-speaking staff. It was also cheap. Rice with tofu and morning glory was super delicious. There is also a little shop where you can buy some snacks.

The best vegan restaurant on my trip - Edit
True Bangkok experience, sitting outside ( shaded under a roof ) and enjoying the most delicious food ever. Pad see aew is the thing I recommend. There are 2 menu’s though so be aware when trying to find it! I put a picture here of the menu. It is so good though that I came back like 4 or 5 times. Its also cheap with 50 baht. Also very kind staff and pay with cash. Must try when in Bangkok

China town vegan - Edit
Tiny Jai food place. Almost no premade dishes so almost everything is stir fried to order. They have a menu with pictures and Thai dish names written in English letters. Easy to order, tasty food and very inexpensive considering you are in the heart of Bangkok. Portions are a bit small, I had 2 dishes to walk away really full and satisfied. #Veganuary

Cheap, simple Chinese food - Edit
We were looking for a break from overdosing on lots of ‘too sweet’ Thai food, and this was just what we were looking for. Simple clear soup, crisp fresh veggie stir fry with mock meat. The four of us ate for about 10 Australian dollars all together including a drink each. Some tables, rather than a long bench, would be nice for groups.

Lokale Küche, einziges veganes Restaurant in China Town - Edit
Der Koch ist sehr nett und freundlich. Man kann zwischen 20 verschiedenen Gerichte etwa wählen. Da war zwar keine Erklärung, was drin enthalten ist. Traditionelle Garküche, also Achtung bei sensiblen Mägen. Man kann scharf abbestellen👍

Most Trustworthy Dishes - Edit
This is my regular staple and part of a reason for trying to move to Thailand. They can cook custom if you're polite (like Vegan Thom Yum). Will get more stuff without rice unless ordering a side of rice. Not sure how to get it that way... Outside seating and replacement for at-home meals. Hangover cures also remedied, lol. No joke. May feel guilty eating elsewhere. Don't forget to try the soups when it's a hot day!

Of course it’s not as cute as some other vegan cafes, but the food you get there is amazing. We paid 100baht for two meals and loved both of them. Everything was done quickly and there are many options to choose from.

As they particularly claim, it's the only vegan restaurant in Chinatown and it's very good and cheap. I liked it. It's 500m from main China Town market and is inside an alley. With yellow board.

After reflection I'd give it 4 stars. The food was very good. But still not 5 stars due to what I mentioned above. But within Bangkok it was definitely one of the better plates I've had 😋.
