Economical and Healthy vegetarian food

This is a great little take-out place. Great variety of fresh salads and pickled vegetables, and wonderful fafafel pitas. As far as I know, everything is vegetarian except possibly tuna salad (have not seen that on the menu).
With just a couple of outdoor tables with umbrellas, this is not a restaurant. This is my go-to place when I am super-hungry and just want to get something quick and healthy, and I like sitting outside in all weather.

Pros: Tasty salads, Great Service

Awesome vegan options at falafel place

I really enjoyed the great Middle Eastern food at this small falafel joint. It's great to have the option to "make your own" falafel and you go up to the window and point to what goodness you'd like in your custom made dish such as hummus, eggplant slices, cabbage, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, pickles, olives etc and chose your sauce. I also enjoyed a heaping order of sweet potato fries and a potato pastry was something different I really liked. Highly recommend this small, hidden gem.

Pros: Quality of the food, Friendly service , Price

Amazing falafel, great addition to Local scene

New spot in New Haven dedicated to falafel directly across the street from Edge of the Woods Natural Market. The founder Eddy modeled it off Israeli Street falafel stand. There is no inside dining, but a window for takeout and some tables outside for when the weather is nice. Falafel was incredible and can be customized, with options such as stuffed house made pickles, Israeli salad, grilled eggplant, Hummus - all same price, nearly all vegan. Great value, unique and delicious vegan option. Great addition to New Haven vegan scene.
