Est. Sept. 2023. First vegan cafe/bar in the town of Grasse. Nestled in the heart of the historic center in a previous centuries old butcher shop - out with the cruelty and in with the peace! Is idiosyncratically furnished with second hand furniture that gives it a Bohemian look. Serving burgers, toasted sandwiches, mixed sharing plates, and a dish of the day, as well as desserts including cheesecake and cookies. Has a License 3 for alcohol (beer & wine & spirits under 18% alcohol - no cocktails). Hours are subject to change so please contact before visiting. Open Mon 12:00-23:30, Tue 12:00-22:30, Wed 12:00-23:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-23:30.

lovely food, even lovelier owners! - Edit
One of the only full vegan places in Grasse. We stopped by for dessert after dinner somewhere else so I can only speak for the desert but the cookie was delicious (chewy and perfect just like a chocolate chip cookie should be) and the brownie was also soft and dense in the best way possible. The coffee was also delicious !
Read moreI chatted a bit with the owners - they are a couple, one from the UK one from France who opened Le Poulpi Place together and run it together. You can see how much love is behind this restaurant and how kind and welcoming the owners are. It’s always the best to support something local and run by people with passion, not a big corporation.
This would definitely be my regular café if I lived here!!

Took a trip from our holiday in Cannes to what appears to be the only fully vegan place in the whole area. It’s well worth the visit as Grasse is a stunning place and Le Poulpi Place is a must for any vegans to eat. It’s great value, we had a couple of 'not dogs' and 2 terrific homemade desserts - choc mousse and cheesecake. The drinks and chat were great too. The menu had home cooked mains and different choices if you wanted something quick. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back.

This was a tiny little café/restaurant run by a really lovely couple. It’s in oasis in the south of France for real vegan food. Highly recommend it. It’s very chill and relaxed and a little bit quirky. I love that. It was in a former butcher shop. Ha ha.

I really loved this new cafe & bar. Great service and delicious vegan food. I visited a few times whilst in Grasse. I had the Greedy Beedy Burger which was so tasty and such a good portion. Also the toasted sandwich came with a really good salad. The forest fruit cheesecake was also really yummy. There is also a beer on tap and selection of wines. What I also love is the fact that this used to be a butcher and the owners have cleverly kept some of the features - like from old meat hooks now hang living plants - which really adds to its charm. A really fresh take and super quirky. Big recommend.

Very happy we found this super relaxed little vegan cafe which recently opened as the first fully vegan place in the old town of Grasse. Upon entering, we were welcomed by the friendly owners who immediately offered our dog water and a vegan treat. We had a delicious sandwich with homemade cheese and loved the tasty thick and rich shepherd’s pie. For dessert, we chose an amazing-tasting lemon and well-presented cheesecake which perfectly rounded off our wonderful meal.

First I had the curry. It was very good. I’m used to Indian curry’s and it was less spicy, but they brought out freshly cut pepper to add to the curry.
We tried all three desserts. My favorite hands down was the chocolate pudding. Best chocolate pudding I’ve had in my life. My non vegan friend got the cheesecake. She said she liked it better than normal cheesecake because it wasn’t overly sweet. It also had a balanced lemon flavor. The texture is a little lighter than cheesecake but stille crumbles a little like cheesecake, which I found entertaining. I had a double chocolate cookie, it was very yummy and a double chocolate cookie with cherries. Both cookies used the bigger granules of sugar so I thought the texture was nice. They were very sweet compared to the cheesecake or chocolate mouse.
I got some cheese and bread for take away. The bread still tasted great after being in the refrigerator for a day. The cheese was phenomenal. There was one block of blue cheese and 2 blocks of Brie. The blue cheese had a verte intense blue cheese flavor. I ate only a little at a time but enjoyed it immensely. The Brie was amazing as well. The texture was really good and it even has the rind. BEST VEGAN CHEESE I’ve had in 10 plus years.

This was a butcher's shop previously *yuk* what a great happy ending 😍 a lovely English /French couple who turned this place into a cool little café with original decor and yummie food. Can definitely recommend it, we enjoyed ❤️
