Lovely but limited - Edit
Really nice food with great service and a fantastic atmosphere but the vegan options were very limited and were small portion sizes better suited to a light lunch than a hearty evening meal.
Read morePros: Food tasted really good, More than just tagine or couscous, Very friendly, helpful staff
Cons: Main vegan courses felt more like sides

Only one vegan option - Edit
The eggplant and red pepper dish mentioned is NOT vegan and is made with milk. I was offered a bulgur salad, normally served with goat cheese, or French fries. Plenty of other wonderful places to eat in Marrakech. I’d skip this one for sure.

Lovely food and owner - Edit
Cute spot with roof terrace. Lovely decor and good vegan options. I had the smoked aubergine which was really delicious and my mums cous cous was super soft and light. Lovely owner who was very kind and even gave me a free ice lolly.

A gem in the Marakkech Souks - Edit
Le Mart offers something unique for vegan/vegetarian travellers to Marakkech: a sophisticated selection of dishes with the added bonus of many really good options for loose leafed tea. The service is superb: warm and hospitable. A much sought out offering of their customers, from what I could see from the many times we visited, is their Marrakech made ice creams! Plus, Hassan---the propietor---told us that they are actively looking to expand their vegan/vegetarian offerings.
Read moreThe quality of food from ingredients to preparation to presentation and, of course, most importantly taste made Le Mart a standout of our trip to Marrakech.
The challenge is to find the place if you are walking through the Souks to get there. After stumbling across it on one of our explorations, we vowed to return only to be thwarted in our efforts by getting lost in the bewildering alleys of the Souks. Finally, after breaking my phone, I went back to drawing little maps in my journal all the while looking up at my surroundings to take note of landmarks rather than staring at my screen's guidance for directions---the phone's GPS cannot reliably cope with the interference of the Souks' canopy in any case. That had us going back again and again, and enjoying the walk there that much more. One hint is to ask for directions to Souk Haddadine, where the metalworkers workshops are. From there you will have a better chance in finding someone who can guide you through the last part of the route.
Highly recommended!
Pros: Excellent food with unique selections in Marrakech, Warm, attentive service, Take card payments
