Good for quick lunch

Good place for lunch. The food arrived quickly. We had the lapin noir signature burger and the tempeh bowl. The burger was nice but nothing extraordinary, with falafel I need there to be more sauce so it's not dry. The sauce was yoghurt based so a bit too runny to stay on. The fries were very good. The tempeh bowl was also nice, a simple assembled salad.

Vegan burgers in Rennes !

Staff was very kind! I took the burger du moment with falafel and soya yogurt sauce, it could have used a bit more sauce. The fries were very good, as for the dessert, quite generous in fruits.

Burgers véganes au coeur de Rennes

De très bons burgers, le lapin noir est délicieux, avec d'excellentes frites, le tout dans un petit coin très sympa de Rennes.

Pros: Sauce burger excellente, Frites, Service très sympa

Gorgeous. Good service and friendly staff. The food was fresh, textured and flavoursome. Highly recommended!

There are not many vegan places to chose from. This has been the highlight.

Great falafel burgers and loved the chocolate pie!

Great moment

I went with 5 vegetarian comrades to celebrate the end of the school year, and we all were having a good time. They were happy to have some choices instead of taking the "only veg option" you might encounter in others restaurant. The burger was good, fries extremely good, now my non veg parents want to go after hearing us describing such a good burger.
Some cons : accessibility was reduced for those wanting to go upstairs, and I wasn't well seated, but that's minor.

Pros: Full vegan

Cons: Accessibility could be even better, Toilets are really smol

Good burgers!

The fries were quite soggy and oily, perhaps a bit too much for me.

The hamburger I tried (the Marina one) was very good. My husband got the Lapin Noir one, and it was even better!

Not for people seeking perfect meatlike burgers, but if you enjoy the taste of fresh vegetables, you can go for it :)

Pros: Original, Fresh products

Cons: Not enough variety, I think, Soggy fries

Simple & Efficace

Great find!

The staff are very friendly and the menu for food is 100% vegan. Some drinks may have honey and not all the wine is certified vegan. I had le lapin noir burger and frites. Couldn't fault it. Large portions!

Pros: The food, The atmosphere, The location

Succulent burger and bowl

2023-09-13 Le lapin noir, Rennes
Located a stone's throw from the Saint Germain church, this restaurant, which opened in late August 2023, offers homemade, local and 100% plant-based cuisine.
The menu features :
- 4 burgers, one of which changes every season.
- 2 bowls
- 2 desserts
- A wide choice of drinks, homemade juices, cola, beer and wine...

Over 35 places between inside and outside, and over 10 places on the upper level, sometimes for an evening out with a group.

Just after a quick visit to the vegan grocery store @Vegestal, and passing through Rennes for work, I absolutely had to pay a visit to this new chain that has taken up the challenge of opening a 100% vegan restaurant.

I enjoyed the welcome, the fresh produce, the perfect, soft bun for the burgers, seed on top, just the way I like it.
Fresh fries, delicious sauce, everything was perfect!

The chocolate tart was melt-in-the-mouth with a crunchy base, perfect for this mouth-watering dessert.

In short, a must in Rennes for a convivial lunch or dinner with friends.
And bravo for the logo! Rabbit, a sure bet for vegan restaurants! like Judge vegan in Brussels

Good burgers in a central position

We really enjoyed our meal here, all the burgers were homemade and the quality of the ingredients was pretty high. Very recommended.
