Great vegan curry and very kind staff - Edit
We loved the vegan curry we ordered. The owner is super helpful and kind. He let us know they are very mindful of preparing food vegan and not mixing non-vegan pans/utensils. Very much recommended.

Had a great vegan meal at the Lazy Lizard. NICK was super friendly and helpful. Great to see vegan items on the menue (not as an after thought). The cauliflower bites were delicious. They forgot to put our drinks on our bill.... so if anyone wants to cover it.....a lemonade and a water. Thanks

We were happy to find this restaurant at St. Maarten while visiting Philipsburg on a cruise. It was recommended by a vegan employee of a nearby shop. Several vegan options and they were delicious. We were on a vegan cruise and the owner (Nik) said he wished they'd known we were coming as he'd have prepared many more options. Nice casual spot right on the boardwalk.

My husband and I look for vegan meals when our cruise ship docks. I had read a promising review of Lazy Lizzard, and it met my expectations. Nik, the owner, has only been in business six years. He has a wonderful boardwalk location. Although he serves up plenty of meat, he has been offering vegan selections for about a year. A few days ago a shipload of vegans docked so he was almost out. I had the last beyond beef burger with mushrooms, Creole fries (regular fries sprinkled with seasoning) on the side. There were many choices of local and Caribbean beers.

Just five minutes walk from water taxi along the beach. Indian owner savvy about vegan diet. Provides a small but tasty selection of vegan food. As usual with most restaurants, too much oil and salt are used and the veggies overcooked but I enjoyed my meal and will go back again next time I visit. They serve a wonderful IPA beer made locally— 7% ABV and really good 😎

We had a vegan curry, and it was delicious! Nik explained that he has separate pans and fryer for vegan foods. If you let him know in advance that you’re going, there may be extra options available.

Great food and fantastic hospitality! - Edit
After scraping by on our Royal Caribbean cruises idea of vegan - we were absolutely delighted by the hospitality and knowledge of vegan food here! Vegan food is not on the menu on the door- the host greeted us quickly and asked if we had any questions about the menu and once we mentioned we were vegan she immediately listed off 4/5 different options that were available. We had a beyond burger and chips and a mushroom/pepper melt roll with chips - we had vegan cheese on both and a side of vegan mayo and vegan ranch! The food was really tasty and the staff were incredibly friendly.

We went there for lunch and the owner was wonderfully helpful. He is Indian and understands what vegan means. He was able to bring us lots of delicious vegan items. It was so good we went back again during our short stay! Highly recommend!
