Good Food

Staff had good knowledge of veganism and spoke perfect English.

They made recommendations of taking none vegan dishes and adapting them for us, so we went with what they suggested and we loved it all.

The vine leaves were lovely, and the mixed appetisers (but adapted) was perfect.

Amazing falafel

Went there quite randomly because we were just looking for a falafel near our accommodation and were pleasantly surprised by the whole lunch trip. Sometimes the best places aren't yet on the HappyCow.

The staff weren't immediately familiar with the concept of veganism but spoke really good English and were really understanding and open about it and as a result we were able to turn our falafel sandwiches dairy free in no time. We also had the tabbouleh salad to share as a starter and it was vegan to begin with.

I have had falafel in all kinds of its forms and ways all over the planet basically and theirs made it easily to the top 5% of them. Falafels were moist, yet crunchy, with a great selection of veggies and excellent hummus on the side, the sandwich was grilled to a crisp but not burnt or dried too much.

The tabbouleh was an excellent choice as a starter/side dish, it's always such a refreshing bowl of fresh vegetables combined with delight spicing, that together make it an excellent choice for a sunny and hot early afternoon like today. Their take on this dish as well was delivered extremely well!

Also the pricing is far from the tourist orientated restaurants of the Medina. The falafels come with crisps/chips and cost 55 dirhams, and the starters are roughly 50 each. We paid less than 180 dirhams for drinks and more than enough food for two hungry adults.

Pros: The food, The super friendly staff, Excellent price quality ratio
