We had vegan fish (banana blossom) and chips, vegan battered sausage and chips and a vegan cheese patty. I've not had a cheese patty for over 20 years and it was worth the wait. Great menu, good prices, lovely staff.

Very good vegan chip shop chips with lots of other vegan options some of those items are vegan battered fish and vegan battered sausage. My daughter had the battered sausage and loved it! Highly recommend 😍

Had heard that it was like the real thing with flakes of fish like banana blossom. Nope.

Expecting great things after all these positive reviews but my goodness were we disappointed. Owners mentioned they took over in September so not sure if it's a new management issue but our chips were soggy, as was the batter, banana blossom was so tough and everything was dripping in grease😒we wanted to love it but the only nice bit was the gravy! Gutted!

Everything is fried well with a light and crunchy batter and even better the chips are way better than those we got at another shop (my omni husband needs GF options so Laura’s wasn’t an option for him). An even bigger surprise are the great prices, next time we’re back in the area I’ll be visiting here

Customer service was excellent. The guy who took our order was so lovely and polite, he made sure he asked us how we want our food. Me and my partner ordered vegan ‘sausage’ and chips with curry sauce and ‘fish’ and chips with mushy peas. The guy who took our order made sure we got everything we asked for and was so helpful and smiley. One of the best customer service experiences we have ever encountered.
Read moreFood portions are not too big, after we had our food we felt comfortably full. My sausage and chips with curry sauce was AMAZING! I am definitely going back for more! My partner wasn’t keep on his ‘fish’ he never tried banana plant (fish alternative) and I think it freaked him out a bit haha. I think he will go for sausage and chips next time around.
Overall very tasty food, not too pricey and customer service is excellent.

Went here for the first time today and ordered vegan fish, fish cake, chips and tartar sauce. The owners are very friendly, you can tell they have really researched the vegan options available , they even using testers before menu was launched.
Read moreThe vegan options are cooked in a separate fryer, chips are cooked in the main fryer as they use vegetable oil. Really loved what we had to eat , this is our fish and chip shop now. Will definitely be back .
Sorry I couldn’t give it up 5 stars as the app doesn’t allow me to for places that aren’t completely vegan .

I visited today and ordered the banana blossom fish with chips and tartar sauce, whilst my wife got vegan sausage, chips and gravy. The fish was superb and had such a great texture, whilst the sausage, which I think was a Linda Mac one was excellent too. Top marks for the crispy batter, chips and homemade tartar sauce and gravy too. Staff are very friendly and the fish bar is so easy to get to. My advice is to make a day of it and head to the beach or park, which is what we did.

This is such a good place. It can be difficult to find a take away that cooks chips in vegetable oil and in a fryer that is separate from the meat/ fish items. So this is a real gem of a find. They certainly take vegan serious and the food is outstanding. My favourite is the battered sausage. Wow. I can’t wait to go back.

Nice spot near the Metro station, friendly staff and vegan friendly options. The battered banana blossom fish is quite something. Phenomenal texture, it’s so darn good. We had vegan fish and chips, battered vegan sausage and chips with a good sized portion of curry sauce and a pot of vegan tartare sauce. This came to just over £12. No complaints there. Heated up back at home in the oven everything came out perfectly crisp and tasty. Hugely impressed, I’m still quite blown away by the banana blossom experience.
