healthy and plenty of vegan options - Edit
Laughing Planet is quite alright! One of my favorite things about this place is that the food is fairly fast and healthy. People watching can be great. The decor is a lot of fun with dinosaurs on the tables. I love the Frank Zappa posters and lots of R. Crumb's work including Mr. Natural.

If you haven't you should as it is a great film, but I'm not going to review the film I'm reviewing Laughing Planet.
Healthy options and plenty of vegan options. It seems some of the places I frequent most always have nutritional yeast and a variety of house sauces including Sriracha. They have them here of course it is almost required like Kombucha on tap at the Eugene NFS.
Laughing Planet is a good place for a vegan or vegetarian to bring their vegan or vegetarian date or friend or omnivore gluten-free paleo date, friend, or relative.
Went there this past Friday and was quite busy with plastic dinosaur toys on the table. The first table we sat at had a T. Rex on it and water from a spider planet above us was dropping on us and our table. My friend from out of town knew that the NW was famous for rain, but not indoors at a funky artsy hip healthy restaurant. So we switched tables to sitting underneath a Critical Mass poster with a Triceratops on it. Much better!
I had the Grains and Greens Salad:
Mixed lettuces, kale, sprouted lentils, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, radishes, dried cranberries, and grilled broccoli in a basil-garlic vinaigrette. Topped with toasted sunflower seeds.
I had a side of guacamole and vegan sour cream w/ it. When it arrived it looked like real sour cream, so checked with the server. He said they use toffuti sour cream. I'm familiar with the brand and used it years ago, but would be a nice touch if they made in house vegan sour cream.
My friend had the Soylent Green Bowl which is:
Sautéed kale and steamed broccoli on a bed of quinoa topped with house-marinated tempeh and your choice of chimichurri or garlic tahini sauce.
She took half home, but enjoyed it very much.
We split a Hempseed Hazelnut cookie for desert that was great as well.
I'll be back and my friend has a fond memory of Eugene!
Pros: healthy and plenty of vegan options

Good - Edit
Lots of veggie options. Vegan chili was delicious. Salad hit the spot with added tempeh. Prehistoric animals to play with all over the restaurant. Fun for kids. Kids menu too.

Very friendly place. - Edit
An intimate little place with friendly staff. Has several vegan items clearly marked on the menu. I had the two for $8 mushroom tacos, which consisted of button and oyster shrooms with guac and sliced radish on soft shells, with hot sauce on the side. Very good, affordable and filling.

V bomb burritos - Edit
Called in to order some vegan burritos without looking at the menu and the person was v nice and helpful. I got the Tempeh Royale and it was superb! There are at least 3 different types of vegan burritos to choose from, along with other vegan options that I haven’t tried such as bowls, salads etc

Burrito Pit Stop - Edit
This place was very busy yet very small and accommodating. The menu seems to cater to children as well which can be a plus for some, there were lots of families. I ordered the peach berry chia smoothie which was exactly the nutrient pick up we needed for the long trip. I also got the tempeh royale burrito with daiya and veg sour cream and it was AMAZING. My non-practicing vegan boyfriend said it was the second best burrito he's ever had. Lastly we couldn't resist the cookies in the cases by the register! The double chocolate was moist and delicious so we grabbed and oatmeal chocolate chip for the road!

meh - Edit
The two times I've been the food seemed like parking lot food at a Phish concert. Nothing interesting and nothing fantastic, but passable with a large appetite.
