Spiced Rice - Edit
I ordered the Thai Bowl, which includes baked organic tofu, garlic green beans, steamed broccoli, brown rice or jasmine rice, topped with cilantro lime slaw and Thai lemongrass peanut sauce. It was too spicy for my low tolerance, so I couldn't enjoy it. However, the pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie soothed my palate.

Quick and easy - Edit
Laughing Planet has lots of clearly marked vegan options and is willing and able to modify other menu items to make them vegan. All their salad dressings are vegan (including a vegan caesar and an oil-free garlic tahini) and they have tofu, tempeh, and vegan cheese. It's a good spot for a quick, healthy, and satisfying bite. They have multiple locations around Portland which I have made use of many times when out and about with people who are resistant to going to an all-vegan restaurant (and also when I'm by myself).
Read moreI like the Thai bowl (tofu, green beans, broccoli, rice, cilantro-lime slaw, Thai peanut sauce), the tempeh royale burrito (rice, beans, tempeh, kale, guac), and the kale caesar.
Pros: Has tofu, tempeh, and vegan cheese
Cons: Limited parking at this location

Did NOT disappoint!! - Edit
We got the Thai Bowl, the Veggie Chili, and the Harvest Bowl - listed in order of deliciousness. There weren’t many vegan options close enough to deliver to our hotel so we were very glad to have this option. Vegan items are clearly marked on menu, reassuring the dairy allergic vegan member of our party!

Love Laughing Planet - Edit
When I eat cooked foods I love Laughing Planet they have a great selection of Vegan foods. Also great for when you have non-Vegans going out to eat with you. wish they had Live foods and dishes without oils, salt and sugar though.

friendly burrito place - Edit
First of all, I am an avid supporter of Chipotle, but Laughing Planet blows them out of the water. It does help that they carry Daiya. They stuff their burritos, their guacamole is amazing, and everything tasted so [censored] good. I will be returning!
