Food is good, but sauce is spicy - Edit
I was thrilled to find this place because they have a great assortment of options and will veganize anything they can. The only thing, and so far only one server in Boise did this, inform me the dressing/sauce/whatever is spicy. That's not to much to ask, is it? We're on a two week driving trip and I've had to eat (or go without) such spicy food.

It’s an option - Edit
We picked up to go. Friendly service. We ordered Vegan Chili and Vegan Caesar Salad. Chili was more like a soup to me. Flavor on both were fine, but nothing memorable. The sour cream is bought from a supplier. Corn chips are locally sourced and we think ours were stale.
Read moreThe Caesar is made with kale. Sadly about a 1/4 of the kale still had the spine/ribs in it.
I love the concept. Maybe we just visited on an off day.

Love their burritos! - Edit
Everything on the menu can be veganized! Garden salad was super fresh, avocado dressing went perfectly with it. They could maybe season their tempeh/tofu a little bit more, but the rest of the burrito is so yummy it doesn’t really matter

4 items, one wrong w/cheese on it - Edit
The only reason I’m rating three is I had ordered four items, because I’m staying at The Pronghorn and have like zero food options here and I wanted leftovers. Ordered the kale Caesar salad, which is vegan but instead got the non vegan one covered with dairy cheese. I just ended up giving that to another friend staying here so it wouldn’t go to waste. My other three items were all correct and delicious! I love that they offer vegan cheese and protein options to sub out. No photos because I forgot for the first time. It’s a bummer one item was wrong but I will give them another chance next time I’m near one.

My favorite option in Bend - Edit
I feel bad about saying this cause this restaurant does serve meat and dairy but this is definitely my go to in Bend. Every meal can be made vegan and the staff are very knowledgeable. The food is quick and the prices are reasonable. I have only been to Bend twice though so I am by no means a local expert. I think I have been to every all vegan restaurant but still take my review with a grain of salt.

5 stars! - Edit
Honestly, this place deserves five stars even though it’s not fully vegan! They can make any dish here vegan and are more than happy to do so! The staff was amazing, the food incredible and well priced. They have cute little toy dinosaurs for children to play with. The ambience of the place is relaxing and I kind of wish I had a Laughing Planet where I live! Definitely my forever go to place in Bend!!

My go to place for eating out in Bend! - Edit
I love Laughing Planet! They offer a variety of vegan, gluten-free, and even oil-free options plus you can pretty much veganize any item on the menu. The kid's menu is fantastic, offering healthy choices at very reasonable prices. It's also a great place to take your non-vegan / vegetarian friends and family. There is something on the menu that everyone will enjoy! I would give it 5 stars, but the rating system won't let me since they do serve meat.

Great food, good service. - Edit
Great food! Not sure how they prep their beans though... they always cause bloating and gas. Fix the beans and we would eat here more often.

Fabulous Food - Edit
We were passing through Bend and found this restaurant close to our hotel. It was fabulous! The menu is extensive and being vegans, we had no problem ordering something that was tasty, healthy and filling. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is open and friendly. We definitely recommend the Laughing Planet for your next meal.

Very Pleased with Vegan Options! - Edit
My husband and I were visiting Bend from Washington, deciding if we want to live there or not. We had a hard time choosing a place to eat because Bend has so many restaurants that have vegan options. The online menu for Laughing Plant looked awesome, so we gave it a try and were very pleased! I had the Thai Bowl with Jasmine Rice and it was freaking delicious! The garlic green beans really set it off. It tasted healthy, fresh, not oily or heavy at all. It was the perfect amount and left me feeling satisfied and light as a feather. My husband had the Tempeh Burrito, he was also very happy. He had the same comments, it tasted healthy and not heavy at all. The place was clean and the employees were super nice and cheerful. I'm very happy with this place and would gladly eat there again!

On the way out of Bend we stopped here for a quick lunch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their many vegan options. We ordered a Thai rice bowl and smoothie, both of which were delicious! We will be returning to Laughing Planet when in Bend.
