Výborná káva a zákusky/Great coffee and cakes - Edit
Vše veganské, hezké prostředí, ale je to opravdu pouze kavárna, nečekejte nic většího, maximálně chlebíčky
Read moreEverything is vegan, nice environment, but it's really just a cafe, don't expect anything bigger, open faced sandwiches at most

Cozy place - Edit
I stopped by the café shortly before closing, so the selection was a bit limited. But still, I managed to enjoy a delicious coffee and something sweet. It's a very pleasant spot. I'd happily come back here again!

The best cafe in Brno - Edit
We spend a short vacation in Brno every year. This time, I even chose accommodation near Lákava :D
Read moreWe visited twice, and on the last day, I took some pastries to go. I missed the poppy seed pastries this time, but there were cinnamon buns and other sweet pastries, plus pretty good croissants and chocolate cookies.
Pros: Atmosphere, Nice staff, Yeast pastries

Best in the world - Edit
We had two croissants (salty and sweet) and a sandwich. All of these were delicious, but especially the croissants - both were just amazing! I definitely recommend going here. I already look forward to coming back. The decaf cappuccino is also great! The staff was nice and friendly and the place is cozy.

Hit or miss - Edit
As much as I do appreciate the existence of this place, it's a bit of a hit or miss, really. I keep seeing super nice pastries on their social media, but never seem to find them there - maybe because I visit on weekdays?
Read moreAlso, what I tried was often a bit dry and not fresh. The worst was the macaron which was dry and hollow inside.
The place would definitely deserve a more central location and, as it is located in a basement, I also find it quite dark and uninviting.
However, you can try some traditional Czech foods there. Pity there is no breakfast menu on weekdays, just the cabinet display.
Pros: Traditional Czech open sandwiches, Fully vegan
Cons: No menu, Location

Small meals+amazing vegan desserts - Edit
Everything I had there was so tasty, the prices seem good in comparison with other places. There is also always 2-3 meal options such as sandwiches or chlebíčky.

Good option - Edit
Nice vintage style place. Great for a snack or a small breakfast.
Read moreYou can buy a vegan camembert at this place.
However, for me the ”wow” factor was missing and my croissant wasn’t very fluffy.

Back in my childhood! - Edit
Most vegan restaurants are trying to make something special, exotic, unknown. But what the hell?! This is proper Czech fast food! Chlebíčky, punčák and other socialist Czechoslovak fast food unhealthy and tasty things. Loved it. And the vibe and the whole café resembles the food. Thanks! And a really good coffee. Mňam dopí*i

Nostalgia with a contemporary face - Edit
The've got the best filled croissants I've ever tasted! Coffee was also soul-soothing and the barista was very nice. I appreciate that tables, chairs, plates and many other elements were obviously from antique stores, but used in a very contemporary way, which gave the place a lovely atmosphere. I'm looking forward to the next visit :)

Prefect at what it does - Edit
This place is a wonderful little café that offers much more than just coffee and desserts, though. They have sandwiches, wraps, chlebíčky, etc. I tasted four items and all were delicious: perfectly soft and quite mellow, but not at the cost of delicious taste. The place is cute, and it has a good bathroom and different seating arrangements: various chairs, armchairs, and differently sized tables; it is close to a tram stop, and it utilizes the little place it is situated in very well. I also got tons of free tap water to flush my taste buds between variously flavored courses. I highly recommend visiting this place, but beware, it’s not a restaurant where you can fill your stomach for very little money; instead, it is a great place for a date or meditation or for satisfying your sweet tooth with a fresh dessert.

A must-have when in Brno - Edit
This place is SO GOOD! When you love vegan sweets and delicatessen, you absolutely shouldn’t miss it. They also make their own vegan camembert-style cheese that is just 10/10. Get EVERYTHING because it’s all just so good 😄
