Vegan options if you ask - Edit
We visited Lago because of the good recommendations here on happy cow. We were a bit disappointed to hear that there are only two vegan options on the buffet such as fries and vegetarian spring rolls (vegan).

We had some spring rolls, rice, fries and fried vegetables with tofu.
It was okay, the spring rolls were tasty, the vegetables and tofu dish was okay, they could've seasoned it a bit stronger in our opinion.
The portion size was medium, 2 small spring rolls per serving.
Pros: Tasty spring rolls , Friendly staff
Cons: Portion size was a bit on the smaller side , Dishes are not labeled as vegan , Seasoning could have been stronger

Friendly staff that knew a lot about veganism, we were walked around the buffet and shown what options were vegan.
Read moreThey even cooked us a vegan vegetable rice and tofu separately that was included in the buffet price!
Really enjoyed it here, cheap and tasty food, highly recommended!

Fuimos porque estabamos alojados al lado, y nos animo las buenas opiniones. La chica es muy maja, sabe perfectamente lo que comemos los veganos, nos mostro todas las opciones que tenian, y nos hizo varios platos adaptados. Fuimos al buffet, 11,95€ a medio dia y 14,95€ por la noche, bebidas aparte. Estaba todo buenisimo! Lo recomiendo al 100%

Cheap. Cheerful. Vegan friendly - Edit
Super impressed with this establishment. As reported in other reviews, the staff clearly understand how to cater for vegans. They go out of their way to show you around the buffet to identify which dishes are vegan, which are vegetarian. They also prepared Olin boiled rice and a wonderful tofu dish for us, all included in the buffet price. It’s cheap, cheerful, with very attentive and accommodating staff. Well worth a visit if you want to get your vegan fix on the cheap!

Great place to eat - Edit
The staff here are really knowledgeable about veganism and showed us exactly what we could have. They also made us boiled rice and a gorgeous tofu dish all within the buffet price. The kids have a new name for this place “heaven” lol! Think we may well go back before our holiday is over

Vegan buffet options - Edit
We have visited a couple of times during our stay in Alcudia due to its closeness to our apartment. Two of our party are vegan and when we arrived I let the waitress know this. She knew exactly what this meant (no meat, eggs, dairy fish- her words) and she pointed out the vegan options. These included plain noodles, boiled rice, onion rings, spring rolls, chips, broccoli and veg, and a lot of the sushi which was just delicious. Additionally to this they made a potion of veg fried rice with no egg added for no extra charge. For pudding we had a bowl of fresh fruit. I would definitely recommend this for a quick cheap and tasty meal.

A vegan review - Edit
We went to Lago last night for food when HappyCow showed it to be the only restaurant within easy walking distance of where we were. While there was no atmosphere as such, it was open on to the pavement which was nice. Reassuringly the waitress knew exactly what vegan meant, and we selected 2 spring rolls, 2 tofu dishes (not on the menu but they were happy to make) as well as rice noodles, boiled rice and some salt and pepper chips. All were served quickly, and all were very tasty. My only real complaint was that while everyone else got to eat from the €9.95 all you can eat buffet, despite asking if our meals could be included in this offer, we had to pay full price which with a couple of drinks each came to over €40.
