Delicious vegan plate!

Asked what could be made vegan, they brought out a “vegan plate” and it was so delicious! Beans, potato in a curry sauce so devine…bread and gorgeous wine. Love it. My non-veggie friends ate well too.

Pros: Vegan options

Amazing Food and staff

The staff were so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. They talked us through the menu and explained which dishes were vegan or could be made vegan. The food was local, inventive, fresh and really really really good! We were brought an entree of grapes marinated in olive oil, chilli, almonds, and the waitress said they had just picked the grapes from their vines that day. It was amazing.
We didn’t try the wine they made there but the local beers were amazing. Highly recommend.

Pros: The locally sourced food , The creative use of ingredients , The friendly staff

Amazing service/atmosphere

L’Abri is an absolute gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an exceptional evening. The decor is stylish and elegant, creating a perfect ambiance for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings.

The service at L’Abri truly made the night what it was. We hadn’t made a booking but definitely will make sure we book next time as on a Tuesday night dinner time after we were given the option of the bar or a table with a limited time we also then saw multiple tables without reservations get turned away. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring that every guest has a remarkable experience. Their recommendations were spot-on, expertly pairing the food.

The menu is a culinary masterpiece, showcasing a brilliant fusion of traditional and modern flavors. Each dish is meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the presentation is nothing short of art. The chef's creativity and passion for food shine through in every bite.

We were also treated to a rare and delightful moment: we had the chance to meet the very person who grows the vegetables for the restaurant. What are the chances? This personal connection to the source of our meal added a unique and special touch to our dining experience, highlighting L’Abri’s commitment to quality and sustainability.

Highlights of the meal included the Aubergine with Harissa, which was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, offering something for every palate. Also pictured is the courgette with the feta seperately which was so perfectly cooked and you could tell the veg was fresh.

Overall, L’Abri stands out as a top-notch restaurant that excels in every aspect. It is a place where exceptional food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere come together to create a dining experience that you will want to return to again and again. Highly recommended! Can’t wait for next time in marseille tbc x
