just perfect! ❤ - Edit
My boyfriend and me went from Thursday to Sunday to Venice. We ate a lot of Pizza "Marinara" (Pizzabread with tomato sauce and spices) and Ciabatta which was delicious but after 2 days we couldn't see that anymore. Luckily for us...we found "La Tecia Vegana" and went there for lunch on our last day. At first we ordered the Soup of the day: Dal of red Lentils! it was just perfect and it tasted so good! then we had a First Plate: Basmati Rice with Zucchini and Plumes. it was delicious!! our Second plate was: Venetian Seitan ❤ , which was my favorite!!! as a Side Plate we ordered Roasted Potatoes! and we ordered at last a very delicious Tiramisu (with almond cream...just perfect!) and a War Carrtos Tart wich was a little bit too sweet of me but still good!

We had starters, mains and a dessert to share plus a glass of wine and it came under €40 - amazing value for money!
The food was clearly made with love and was so wholesome. If we had been in Venice longer we would have gone back every night!

Lovely Restaurant - Edit
Went to this restaurant on the 23/3/2017. We arrived at the restaurant around 6.45pm & the gent who was working (think he could of possibly been the owner I'm not too sure), said to us that they weren't starting to serve food until 7.00pm. So we sat down and had a drink until he came over and took our order. We ordered hummus with bread to start (amazing it had paprika on it & you get a crazy amount of hummus!). We also ordered some lasagna (amazing) & a vegan burger (top notch!). We got some potatoes cooked in oil with rosemary on the side aswell! For desert we got the chocolate cheesecake (made with tofu the guy said!) and it was amazing! The staff at this place are so friendly and the food was great I couldn't recommend it more!
Read moreThe restaurant it's self is about just over a mile away from St. Marks Square it takes about half an hour if you just stroll. It's a good walk though you get to walk through the non tourist neighbourhoods and see a bit of every day living Venice!
If your going to Venice make sure this place is in your plans!
Pros: Great Restaurant, Highly recommended.

Great find. Great experience - Edit
Great to find this vegan restaurant in Venice. Take the water taxi/vapiretyo to Santa Marta and it's a few minutes walk.
Read moreOwner was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was original and very well done. We ate a lot of good things; including orchiette with pesto, mixed antipasto, seitan stew, and a few more....including excellent sachertorte. Good wine at very reasonable prices. Places like this are worth making an effort to find. Better than so many tourist restaurants. A really good experience. The restaurant opened recently. We will be back when we are next in Venice.
Pros: Great food, Great service, Excellent prices

vegan venics is delicious! - Edit
We (2 people) were on holidays in beautiful Venice for a weekend and were looking to find some all vegan restaurant and were so pleased when we finally found it. Since the venetian cusine contains mainly fish and meat and cheese and pasta with eggs we were so happy to arrive in a "safe haven". The staff was super friendly and explained everything they had on their menu (typical venetian food and 'modern' food as well) since it was in italian only. We decided to try as much as possible and werent disappointed. The lasagna, the anti-pasti, the black rice, the seitan, the cake, the bavarian beer: everything was SO. GOOD. we decided to come back everytime we'll be in Venice! THANKS!
Read morePros: all vegan, bavarian beer, typical venetian/italian food
Cons: too much too try everything on the menu at once

Superb Vegan Restaurant in Venice - Edit
La Tecia Vegana had only been open for 10 days when we ate there on 15/02/2017. It's an unusual but interesting location that is only 12 minutes by Waterboat(vaporetto) from the centre of Venice. The stop is Santa Marta and the restaurant is then 3 minutes walk. This is a great vegan and vegetarian restaurant which is truly rare in Venice. Every dish is delicious and the house wine is very drinkable and an excellent price as are all the dishes. Service and decour are warm and friendly. Big recommendation!!
Read morePros: Great Vegan and Vegetarian dishes, Interesting location - go by Vaporetto, Amazing value prices for food and wine
Cons: None. Just go and try it.

Finally in Venice - Edit
Finally we have a vegan restaurant in the historical centre of Venice and a good one. They update the menu every day and they have a large choice of dishes with vegan desserts too. As Entrée we had “Melanzane (eggplants) in Saor”, which very well mimic the typical venetian “Sarde (sardines) in Saor” (with marinated onion, pine seeds and raisin), and a very good hummus. Then, as first course, we had Ribollita (typical Tuscany soup) and the Lasagne with seitan ragout. For the main course we ordered scrambled tofu with curry, zucchini, pepper, carrots and onions and the marinated tofu with tomatoes, garlic, onion and peanuts paste. At the end we had apple pie, Tiramisù and walnut chocolate truffles. Everything was very tasty and well presented. The place is quite simple with a family atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Average price.
