Delicious Venetian vegan food - Edit
I loved eating here. The service was perfect, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious. I had the Lasagna allá Bolognese soy and seitan as a first course and the potato with radicchio gateau, a typical dish from the region, as a second course. I also had a bitter Spritz to drink and the Tiramisu as a dessert, a drink ad dessert that are typical of the region as well. Everything was very tasty! I would definitely come back again if I ever found myself back in Venice.

Recommend the ravioli and tiramisu - Edit
Was looking forward to visiting here to try some vegan Italian dishes. I had the ravioli and really enjoyed it - the sauce was really unique with a strong umami flavour. My partner had the lasagna, which was good but a little underwhelming.

Great Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Went for dinner yesterday evening and it was such a great experience! Even get bread for the table. We had the mixed starter plate to share which was delicious. We opted to share a few dishes, which were a reasonable standard size, we got the lasagna, ravioli and seitan roast which were all great! The drinks were reasonably priced and the tiramisu was the star of the evening! Lovely staff and cute little restaurant. You have to go here if you are in Venice!

Such lovely options, and the tastes of everything we ordered was all absolutely divine. The location is also really interesting, taking you out of the tourist hub and into an interesting part of venice.

Excellent food in a cosy place - Edit
We went to Tecia as we really wanted to have some vegan lasagna while we were in Venice. We werent' disappointed as they were super good!
Read moreThe menu offers plenty of choices and we also tried the "no fish" which was very good as well.
We were also dying for a tiramisu but were a bit disappointed by it though! Taste was good but it looked as though it was missing the biscuit, it was a bit blend.
Staff was very friendly and the place very cosy.
Pros: Traditional food
Cons: Price

Worth a visit - Edit
Generally being vegan in Venice is pretty difficult so was delighted to get a reservation at La Tecia. Lovely atmosphere and the food ranged from amazing (the roast 'meat' and tiramisu) to average. We had 3 courses each and shared a fourth with drinks for just over €100. Would definitely visit again. Staff were really friendly too.

Just Lovely - Edit
Great little restaurant. You can make a reservation by email if you're nervous about speaking. The staff speak good English and were kind & patient with my poor Italian. The décor was a tad plain but the quality of the food and warmth of the staff more than made up for it. Yes, it is a bit dear for what you get, but not unreasonable given it's the only vegan place on the island. For average appetites, I would recommend either picking an appetiser OR a first course (not both), otherwise you may run out of room for either the second course (where the protein's at) or dessert (which would be a shame!).

Tiramisu 👌🏻 - Edit
I enjoyed my meal and loved that there was an all vegan restaurant in Venice. Generally I found options in Venice to be minimal, make sure you book in advance. My favourite was the tiramisu and the ravioli, the fish was nice, but though the gnocchi with pesto was plain. As I am used to London prices I really didn't think it was that expensive for the variety and quality we received!

Too overpriced - Edit
We were not very impressed with this at all.
Read morePaying €16 for a ravioli and only getting 6 pieces is pretty bad. The sauce was also rather gloopy and flavourless, but the filling was tasty.
We also had the gnocchi which again was a very small portion. Also, the actually gnocchi was too soft and the pesto very basic.
The tiramisu was better priced at €6,50 and the cream was tasty. But the lady fingers were far too soggy.
As the only vegan place in Venice we wanted to try it out, but we really don't think it was worth the money. Best just to get a marinara or pasta pomodoro.

Great vegan restaurant in Venice - Edit
I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and not only because it's arguably the only fully vegan restaurant in Venice, but because of the quality of food and the kindness of the service. I had the pad thai, which was very good, and the parmigiana, which was sublime: soft, almost creamy and amazing. Other people with me had the Insalata Russa (coleslaw) and Panzanella (which I tried both and were perfect), the ravioli with mushrooms and seitan filling, and we finished with the unexpectedly amazing tiramisu.

Absolutely Brilliant - Edit
The food and staff were amazing😄We are staying at Hotel ALA, so it was a half hr walk there and back, well worth every bit of the walk. My husband is vegan and he thought the lasagne was out of this world. I had the Ravioli and it was superb! The big salad, roast potatoes and then the cheese cake to top it off, oh…. And a glass of red! Fantastic find and the walk there and back took us thru ‘suburbia’ which was also something well worth the walk. THANK YOU ‘La Tecia Vegana’

Disappointing - Edit
We were excited to go to the only fully vegan venue in Venice.
Read moreWe had to book a table the night before.
We got the "big salad" as an entree, the lasagne, the ravioli and the tiramisu.
The salad was fine, the potato felt a but misplaced but it was fine. Very simple, nothing special.
The ravioli had no flavour at all.
The lasagne had alright flavour but it was quite dry.
The cream in the tirimisu was DELICIOUS, really good, but there was barely any cake/biscuit, so it was basically just cream with cocoa on top.
We went into the meal really excited due to how many good reviews there were but unfortunately it did not meet our expectation.
