Just amazing - Edit
Every time I come here the food is really good and any meat eater agrees too!
Read moreI love that they do a saor with aubergines to replace the traditional Venetian version with fish. My favourite dish is the seitan roast that they nailed completely, it’s not rubbery at all somehow and has a really nice sauce. The parmigiana and lasagne are also really good and so are the desserts! Overall I’d say for Venice it’s really good value for money.
Pros: Vegan twist on Venetian dishes, Good wine , Good desserts not just mains

Highly recommended, worth a trip into this region of venezia - Edit
They really know how to imitate "meat" and if you would not have been in a purely vegan restaurant, I would have asked again if it is really without meat ^^ and the deserts are just incredible. The chocolate cake was the absolute highlight. The staff is very friendly and you can see that they love working there and having a good time. They also stand fully behind their vegan commitment and are not just working in a vegan restaurant. The waitress was even the orginizer of the AV group in Venice. So really love the spirit behind this restaurant.

Delicious! - Edit
When you have enough of pasta with tomato sauce and pizza without cheese (since it's usually the only vegan option in North Italian restaurants.....) like we did, this is an amazing place💗The roasted seitan and the ravioli were just delicious ! Also the salad with vegan cheese, tofu and avocado, especially the cheese tasted so good!

Disappointing - Edit
I'll be honest here, even thought most of the other reviews are positive.. Not sure if we were just unlucky and the restaurant is normally serving nice food or if all the other ppl writing the positive reviews just have no clue what quality food means.
Read moreThe menu sounded appealing and we were excited to have some vegan food again after eating mostly Italian cuisine on our holiday. Unfortunately, the choice wasn't our best.
The service was ok, but didn't really seem caring and it felt like they are not accepting bad rating from other guests sitting next to us.
As a starter we chose the falafel and millet balls in plum sauce, which both came heated up. None of these was crispy freshly fried. Additionally, the falafel was dried out and tasteless.
Main dish - ravioli with seitan - overcooked pasta (maybe heated up again?), but the filling was nice.
The only nice dish was gnocchi with pesto.
Pros: Variety of dishes, Cheap house wine
Cons: Location (quite far to walk from city centre) , Food was heated up, not fresh

One of the best vegan restaurants I've ever tried - Edit
I am Italian and the dishes served there reminded me of my grandma's dishes.
Read moreI couldn't believe that the tiramisù was vegan.
I can totally recommend the seitan arrosto and the parmigiana di melanzane.
If you're vegan and you're visiting Venice you have to pass by and eat here.

Positively surprised! - Edit
Quite varied menu, all the dishes we tasted were light and nutritious at the same time. I appreciated a lot the attempt of designing vegan alternatives to typical Italian food such as cannoli: my cannolo was so satisfying. I also found the chicory coffee particularly tasty and accelerated my digestion. The staff is very kind, they even give you tips about vegan recipes if you ask!

Perfect! - Edit
If you could get a budget airline deal for less than a tenner each way I would say it would be worth it to go just to eat here. It's some of the best food I've ever eaten. The tempeh main was delicious and the lasagna was amazing. In Venice lots of places make sweet fritters to celebrate the Venice carnival and it's difficult to find vegan ones, so we were thrilled we got the opportunity to try them.
Read moreI love that the owners are also into animal rights and they have a vegan restaurant through their ethics and love of animals rather than it just being a way to make money. If you go to Venice prioritise going here. Reservations are recommended as it's popular.

Interesting menu, delicious - Edit
A varied and ambitious menu from Venice's only vegan place, such a delight. Friendly staff. Cheap wine. A bit tucked away - don't approach via the seafront, its a bit weird down there. Only gripe is service was so fast we had to ask them to slow down! You need to book.

An amazing place in a quiet part of the city. Word of advice - book in advance. We managed to get the last table at the time of opening. I think that natural dishes (not fake meat ones) have much more flavour - I would definitely recommend the aubergine.

Vegan in Italy - Edit
I find Italy difficult being vegan as they have great vegetarian food but vegan not so much. So I didn’t expect to find such a great vegan restaurant in Venice. The food was delicious and the tiramisu in particular exceptionally good. My husband isn’t vegan and loved it.

Remember to book! - Edit
This lovely little restaurant is a little off the main beaten track but that gives you a chance to walk through a lovely area of Venice less saturated in tourists.
Read moreWe did book as it was a Saturday evening & the restaurant was certInly buzzy without feeling overwhelmed, staff were friendly & knowledgable, you will not go hungry here if you go for every course available, we shared the Panzanella salad, ravioli & lentil burger between us with hazelnut cake, tiramisu and coffee with liquor to finish. All the dishes were fresh & tasty.
The price is incredibly reasonable especially by Venice standards so a must for vegans who just want a great selection of Italian food.
Pros: Fully vegan, Freshly prepared food, Lovely staff

The food was great, with generous portions. The free bread was great! Varied options, so something for everyone. The location seems a little out of the way on the map but it’s actually an easy walk from Santa Lucia station through a residential area. Highly recommend the apple crumble!
