Simple place to get some simple vegan food - Edit
I was at a summer school at the Institut Fourier for two weeks and this was an easy place to quickly get something vegan to eat on campus. Usually has a small, but good lentil salad, pasta salad and/or tabbouleh on offer for vegans. Sometimes also has a vegan poke bowl, but I did not try it. The salads include a piece of bread as well and cost slightly under 5 €. Sometimes for a bigger lunch I took two salads.
Read moreHas a long line at around midday and they may run out of some of the vegan options if you're too late. Some of the staff speak english, some don't, but if you know what you want from the usual offerings you can manage even with the non-english speaking staff. The staff is very friendly.
I quite liked this place. Nicer than just buying similar salads from the supermarket.
Pros: Nice simple salads at a good price, On campus, Friendly staff
Cons: Not that many options

Unfortunately may be the only option here! - Edit
La Tab' Verte is a cafe with a focus on healthier Italian food. They serve meat and most of the options are vegetarian, but there's few vegan options.
Read moreThey do not accept cash so only really worth it if your card doesn't charge fees, and even then a bit expensive for what you get. I had a pasta salad which was okay but quite oily. There is no indoor seating but plastic chairs and tables outside mean you can eat in pleasant surroundings.
It's a bit surprising that this may be the only option for vegans at the university as it's not very good. Oh well!
Pros: Nice setting, Helpful and pleasant staff
Cons: Limited options, Card only, Food not great

Pretty good, but not completely veg. - Edit
I spent 6 weeks taking a course in Grenoble and so this became a good on campus location to get a vegetarian salad. Their homemade waffles are also winners. I wasn’t a fan of the dough used for the calzone or pizzas (thin, dry, and papery), but I may be in the minority on that one as they do seem to sell a lot of both items. Be careful though as the menu is not 100% vegetarian and the place is definitely not vegan. Right in the middle of lunch hour this place has a line up literally out the door (as with most eateries on the UGA campus), so try to avoid that hour. It’s right by a tram station, but unless you have a reason to come to the university there are other places In Grenoble to eat.
