Vegan Tamales, sour cream, & cheese - Edit
Beyond the typical veggie taco/burrito/fajitas, chips, guac & salsa they have Vegan jackfruit & mushroom -or- bean & cheese tamales, Vegan sour cream & Vegan cheese.
Read moreTried a Sope for the 1st time. It's a cornmeal bowl approximately 3" in diameter filled with refried beans & topped w/lettuce & tomatoes Vegan cheese if desired. Added salsa & guac for more flavor. Feel the same is needed for the tamales bec they are a little dry, but salsa improves that & love that they offer this option. Quick service. Just pay attention to the extra Vegan ingredient charges. The bill overcharged compared to menu prices, but they did correct this.
Pros: Many Vegan options, Quick friendly service, Separate Vegetarian/Vegan section on menu
Cons: Expensive small single serving size guac for $6.50, A hotter flavor salsa option would be nice

Decent vegan Mexican food - Edit
We recently ate here while traveling through the area. There aren't a lot of vegan options here that aren't big chain restaurants, so we figured we'd give this place a try.
Read moreThey do have vegan cheese (seemed to be Daiya shredded cheese) and vegan sour cream. They seemed to be comfortable with us ordering all vegan and the order arrived correct. The soft tacos were pretty typical, quesadilla was great, sope was great, and the vegan tamale was dry and seemed old (probably not a lot of people ordering it in fairness). Prices were fair. All in all, I'd go back, but I'd only order things that are made to order (not like the tamale).
Pros: Vegan cheese/sour cream
Cons: Basic

Owner is very excited to be able to offer vegan options! - Edit
Vegan options are fabulous! It is so wonderful to find a Mexican restaurant that doesn't use chicken stock or butter in the rice, doesn't use lard in the beans, and doesn't add milk or milk powder to the guacamole! They also don't use peanut oil (if that is an allergy concern). They now have vegan cheese and vegan sour cream!!!

Typical Mexican Place - Edit
The food here is delicious. They have horchata. Great salsa, guacamole & chips. But for a vegan, it's a very standard no-frills selection. It's not like they have Sofritas or tofu/seitan options. No plantains, tostones or anything fun like that.
