Serves meat, vegan options available. Limited vegetarian selections, but a Chinese restaurant is often the only choice for vegetables in Spanish cities. Open Mon-Sun 12:00-16:30, 20:00-00:00.
There are only a few vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had a vegetarian spring roll and Wok-based vegetables. OK, but bland. €9 with tea. So-so service.
We were recommended La Gran Muralla when we asked directions for Confucio, which says it has veg food, and the shopkeeper said Confucio was closed. We don't know if this is true or not. We also found the food fairly bland, but vegan options in Cordoba are few and far between. We had the mixed vegetable and bamboo shoot and black mushroom dishes, both decent and improved with the addition of a piquante sauce. We enjoyed the walk there and back and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice - it's located off a really lovely square with a fountain near a main pedestrian shopping street and there are some lovely buildings and churches nearby. Reviewers on other sites say that there are other Chinese restaurants in Cordoba, we tried one small one near our hotel on the other side of the river, and it had similar food, not quite so tasty.
Except for the spring roles (which were OK) the vegan food there was really flavorless. We asked for a hot salsa and this gave the food at least some flavor but I really would not go there again.
They don't speak any English and had troubles understanding our basic Spanish (which was no trouble elsewhere).
I would recommend everyone to try any of the other Chinese restaurants - there are several in Cordoba (we didn't check if they have vegetarian options though).
