Best restaurant in Vila Real - Edit
La Forneria offers tons a lot of vegan options - by far the most out of any restaurant in Vila Real. Besides that, they also have typical Portuguese dishes (vegan version), like the francesinha.

Tem várias opções vegetarianas e veganas, acredito que a maior quantidade de Vila Real, A bruscheta de alio é mozzarella veg estava deliciosa. Já a francesinha vegana deixou um pouco a desejar. Foi 13 euros e achei um preço caro, por ser um valor mais alto que a opção com carne e ser recheada de legumes e cogumelos, ao invés de carnes vegetais. Os mousses estavam deliciosos, tanto o de cookies quanto o de manteiga de amendoim. Para resumir, é um local que vale a pena, provavelmente voltarei mais uma vez.

I have been visiting the restaurante for several years. It is one of the best places to have a vegetarian francesinha. If you get it without cheese and egg it becomes vegan. Not sure how the sauce is made, but it is delicious! The restaurant is always very full; I always book ahead of time( like one week before), that way it's easier. The parking is not the best, you can find a spot but might have to walk 5 minutes.
