There was only one vegan option which was ok. Ordinary bakery. Didn't seem to have any focus on vegan products.

Stellar vegan options - Edit
Stopped in and had a fantastic vegan breakfast. Fresh squeezed juice w/ spinach roll, breakfast falafel wrap, raspberry croissant, and orange vanilla tart. All were vegan and killer. Don't hesitate to roll through.

Read moreThis must be the most vegan friendly non-vegan place in the area. Virtually all of their food and cakes are homemade and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Their coffee is also great, particularly if you like it strong!
Vegan options include lasagne (a huge plateful with salads is only £6.95!), macaroni cheese, wraps, spinach rolls, custard tart and amazing cheesecakes. They have soft serve ice-cream with toppings and this is vegan only.
Can’t recommend this place enough.

Great vegan cakes, vegan savouries, vegan ice cream, and wonderful coffee! - Edit
We’ve been coming to La Duchesse for years, because they serve probably the best coffee on Stoke Newington Church Street and they’re so friendly. They’re also very sensitive to the needs of their customers, and a few years ago when they had a pizza menu, they created a vegan pizza with homemade cashew ricotta (unfortunately they no longer have a pizza menu - sorry for the tease). But - recently they’ve started making the most amazing vegan cakes, and they proudly boast this with a big blackboard sign in their window. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area - all cakes are displayed in the window.
Read moreEdited April 2022 - La Duchesse have added vegan croissants, a spinach roll, and vegan lasagna with a selection of salads to their offerings, as well as a vegan section in their menu - vegan Benedict, vegan macaroni and cheese, crushed avocado on toast, porridge with berries and banana, and falafel wraps. They also offer a range of plant milks and vegan soft serve ice cream.

Friendly & cozy place, gorgeous cakes, perfect coffee - Edit
On a Monday afternoon they had 2 types of vegan cakes available, both priced at 3.50 £. We tried both, the vegan custard cake was super delicious, the cheese cake I found a little bit too heavy, but probably would be great for ppl who love super rich and creamy cakes. My coffee was just perfect and staff was super lovely as well. (Also I saw on their instagram that they have vegan eggs benedict and ice cream!)

Lovely cafe with a few vegan options, lots of juices and snacks, we had oat iced coffees and the vegan custard fruit tart which was amazing!
