Good food, extremely slow service - Edit
While the food was undeniably good, the overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the incredibly slow service. Despite it being a Saturday lunchtime, there was only one staff member attending to the tables, which led to a hugely long wait. We waited 30 minutes just to order drinks, they didn’t even bring water to the table, and over an hour for our food to arrive. It also seemed like Italian customers were prioritized, as they were seated and served first, even though we had a reservation. To make matters worse, our starter and main course arrived at the same time, even though we had specifically ordered bruschetta to start. While the food itself was tasty, the long wait and poor service definitely overshadowed the meal. It wasn’t worth the hassle or the time spent waiting.

Full Vegan Restaurant - Edit
This place really felt like finer dining to me. The server was really friendly and they managed to fit us in even though we didn’t make a reservation in advance. There are so many unique dishes on the menu that I hadn’t seen anywhere else which felt like such a novelty! The restaurant itself had warm lighting and was really inviting. My partner and I just had two of the first courses because we weren’t super hungry and they were delicious. We had a leisurely sit and espresso after the meal and we weren’t hurried along, it was so nice! The cola here is also delicious! Overall a really lovely experience. While this place is definitely on the pricier side I’d say it was worth it!

The best vegan restaurant in Milano! - Edit
A 100% vegan restaurant near Porta Venezia with a warm and classy atmosphere. They serve lunch, dinner, evening aperitivos, and an infinite-course insane brunch on the weekends (reservations are mandatory for the aperitivo and the brunch). The menu is packed with so many tempting options that it's hard to choose. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious. While it's not cheap, apparently nothing in Milano is, and here you get your money's worth. Hands down the best vegan spot in Milano. Highly recommended!

A most-go when in Milan - Edit
I had the pleasure of dining at this spot with four friends—none of whom are vegan—and we were all blown away. The flavors were outstanding, beautifully unique, and unlike anything you’d expect from a typical Italian restaurant. This is the kind of place where you’ll want to order a variety of dishes to share, giving everyone the chance to savor a bit of everything. Two standouts for me were the risotto with almond cream and saffron, and the homemade spaghetti with lupin beans—absolute perfection.

Vegano "storico" a Milano - Edit
Ristorante vegano "storico" di Milano, che ero curiosa di provare, e devo dire che non ha deluso le aspettative. Mi è piaciuta in particolare la loro degustazione di formaggi vegetali (autoprodotti).

Helpful and friendly staff who were almost apologetic at serving only vegan food until we explained we had sought them out for that reason!!
Read moreA few menu items not available, but understandable on a busy Saturday night. Great atmosphere and a good selection on the menu which was a bit different from the norm.
Had the ‘White purple’ and the Celery root slices which even a non-vegan enjoyed 😂
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff despite being very busy, Great flavour combinations
Cons: Recommend to book, we were lucky to walk in, Not all menu items available

A GEM - Edit
We arrived an hour before they were to close for the afternoon. It took a bit to receive our food, but we did not feel rushed to eat AT ALL. A few other diners were there almost as late as we were. I ordered coffee before using the restroom and expected it to be in to-go cups, but it wasn’t. We were able to enjoy without having to juggle a to-go cup in the car.
Read moreI ordered the crepe dish and my husband had the bowl. He’s not vegan, but throughly enjoyed his meal. I now want to make savory crepes at home. I wish there was 2 on the plate. I tucked in and enjoyed as soon as I took the first bite.

Seriously the best vegan food ever! - Edit
This place… first of all only power women here 💪 second, the food is really incredible and I am pretty wel fed with vegan food the last 8 years. The taste is amazing. And you really taste the local ingredients. The staff is so kind and they explain everything what you eat. We aks for a recommendation so we got a cheeseplank (seriously the best I ever had) and after that a pasta and a pizza. The pasta and pizza were so good. I really miss this place already writing this review. After that we got a selection of sweets. And also those were sooo good. The owner of the restaurant is so kind and so talented. I am really happy and proud that people like this people exist to let us experience this kind of food. Grazie Mile 🙏❤️❤️

Veganised tradition - Edit
La Colubrina looks like your typical traditional Italian restaurant, all dark wood and warm lighting, and their menu is full of veganised Italian classics, including pizza and pasta. I went for the risotto and wasn't disappointed; while it might not have been visually appealing (when is it ever?), the taste was spot on. The portion didn't look big, but it was filling enough. My only complaint would be the fact that they only had one person serving, and they were clearly running off their feet, so they couldn't give the guests enough attention. Overall, though, a great experience, and I'd definitely go back for more if I was staying longer.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants in Milan! The food was incredible! We had the Cacio e Pepe, the Pizza Colubrina (with vegan blue cheese - which was unbelievably good), and a pistachio cream cake for dessert. The chef was so friendly and took the time to explain all of the desserts in English, which was very appreciated. I wish I lived in Milan so I could dine here all the time.

Disappointing... - Edit
I've eaten at about a dozen places in Milan, and this was the most disappointing. The food itself tasted good but wasn't really fancy: the only thing fancy about the experience were the small serving sizes, the high prices, and the jazz music playing in the background (that was good though). The cheese plate was a shocking €26.50 for tiny serves with nothing else on the plate and they charged extra for the bread which was dry. For comparison, I've had cheese plates in Bologna, Paris and Vienna that were cheaper and much bigger.

Huge disappointment - Edit
Based on previous reviews we were expecting something extraordinary but the food was just ok.

Potatoes were cold and tempeh was unseasoned and pizzas were just a regular ones - no better than vegan options in other places.
Overall - we wish it wasn’t, but it was a huge disappointment and we are sorry for letting our friends down and suggesting that place😒

Just wow… - Edit
This was not what I was expecting. I thought I’d be at a restaurant with your typical Italian staples like pastas and pizza with your regular processed meat and cheese substitutes, which would’ve been fine by me if I’m being honest. Instead, I was met with an innovative menu, something almost out of a “Top Chef” competition. This place hits the make in terms of both flavor and presentation. I highly recommend the “Tagliata di Seitan Smoked” which was suggested to me by my server. Everything I tried was very good. I’ll definitely come again if I have time on my trip.
