Good food, superb location, lovely staff - Edit

The venue was fabulous! Eating out on the top of a mountain felt to us as though we were in a 1950s film with Audrey Hepburn. We arrived early, so the restaurant was practically empty - but not for long! It was packed when we left 90 minutes later. The staff were really welcoming, seemingly happy to do their jobs. I had a melon salad, generous and fresh. I got a bit bored with it, as I am wont to do. My wife had a really lovely vegan dish, composed of many smaller portions of varied, smoked and very tasty amuse bouches. Wish I'd had that instead!

One final thing, while I think of it. Customers seated on the patio were liable to suffer sunstroke. Courtesy of la Chapelle, they were immediately offered sunshades and variously defined headgear. What a considerate and nice touch...

Pros: Pretty adventurous vegetarian menu, Extraordinary location, Thoughtful staff, family oriented

Cons: Not much was bad here, really!!
