Serves meat, vegan options available. Hotel restaurant offering a separate vegan menu with pasta dishes, a chickpea curry, salads and dessert. Reported closed July 2022.
Only if you are already in Torrox, with no other option - Edit
Only 3 vegan options, 1 cheackpea curry and 2 spaghetti. The icecream was industrial and not really good.
I would recommend it only to the people who are already in Torrox and don't have any other option It's not worthy to travel in order to reach it.
Delicious... and one of few places with vegan in village - Edit
In the little coastal city of Torrox, Spain, a vegan or vegetarian would be hard-pressed to find anything vegan other than a salad. But La Casa has introduced a vegan menu that includes delicious pasta dishes, salads, curries and even a dessert option. The restaurant is situated in the Town Plaza where you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Spanish sunshine and gorgeous vistas views of the mountains and ocean. We have eaten twice at the restaurant since arriving, due to the limited other options in town, and have not been sorry. The first day we are ordered a mushroom and potato curry that was on the menu, which was perfectly spiced and came with basmati rice. We also had the homemade pasta puttanesca with red beans and spinach, and pasta with artichokes and pesto, both which were created with homemade sauces that were vegan and with whole wheat spaghetti.
The restaurant is owned by very hospitable British expatriates who have lived in the town a long time, and there's not much better than eating a big plate of their pasta with a cerveza, sitting outside in the gorgeous weather.
