A Humble Floating Restaurant - Edit
We stumbled across this floating restaurant by the riverside and decided to give it a try since it wasn’t listed on HappyCow (we're trying to help improve the current database). The setting is simple but charming, with plenty of hanging plants and great views of the water.
Read moreNothing on the menu (see pictured) explicitly shows what is vegan. However, with the help of the server, I ordered the Vegetable Curry, and my partner had the Vegetable Kueh Teow. The server was very helpful in confirming that both dishes were vegetarian and did not contain any egg or milk, which was reassuring as we’re vegan.
The Vegetable Curry was flavourful and packed with fresh veggies, and the Kueh Teow. Both dishes were satisfying and reasonably priced.
Overall, it’s a good spot to check out if you’re in the area and looking for vegan options. The staff’s willingness to confirm ingredients was appreciated.
