Ótimo, barato e gostoso!

Fica em uma praça de alimentação.
Vale a pena conhecer por ser uma barraca tradicional de comida thailandesa.

Delicious Thai food

Twice we ate there and were very satisfied. It was very tasty and spicy to our liking.
The owner is super friendly and attentive, she even ran off to get the ingridients for an off menu dish we asked about.
Would definitely come again.

Pros: Lots of veganized local cousine

100% vegan Thai food

I absolutely loved this place. Located in a huge indoor food court with lots of space and wooden seating areas.
It’s day one of five in Koh Pha Ngan and it’s safe to say, I’ll be back here again tomorrow and most likely the next.
I’ve travelled in Thailand quite a bit and found it hard to find curries /classic Thai dishes where you are certain no fish paste or fish sauce has been added to your meal. These ingredients are generally an integral part of the way Thai people cook.
So, to find a totally vegan Thai food stall in a convenient location is rare, as most of the Thai restaurants all serve and cook meat alongside the veg!
It’s my First visit to Krua- jey and I found every dish was just like the reference photos shown, exceeding my expectations.
With every dish being only 60b (£1.50) and knowing everything was vegan I got a little carried away with my order!
For the two of us we ordered the pineapple fried rice, deep fried tofu with a sweet sauce, Massaman curry/rice and the mushroom salad.
All just delicious and generous servings too.
The owner is really really friendly and had not heard of Happy Cow and didn’t know she was listed on their website. She was very happy when I showed her, especially as her little place has only been open three months. She was very happy that already people had stared reviewing her food.
I wish her all good luck for the future and look forward to trying more of her dishes this week!

Pros: All vegan - need I say more😄, Convenient location in a large indoor food court , Lovely owner

Typical Thai Dishes

Serves typical Thai food at cheap prices. Dishes are OK but they cater for foreign tastes so the curries are not really authentic or particularly flavourful but some of the other dishes are OK, such as somtam, pad Thai and fried rice.
Definitely does the job for a quick, cheap feed.
Edit: I'm surprised to see the complaints about the service because the lady always seems very sweet and attentive to me and always asks me lots of times over if the food is OK. She probably doesn't speak much English which isn't her fault since this is Thailand.

Food ok, poor service

We ordered three dishes, none of them looked like in the photos and none were very good. The vegetarian chicken has a lot of veggies in the picture but came without any and was very dry. The staff didn't give me the feeling as if they cared. I was given some side salad for an extra charge.
Sadly, Happy Cow doesn't allow me to give it 1 star because it's a vegan place.

Pros: Vegan food

Cons: Poor service & staff doesn't speak English, Food is not very good, False advertising

Off tofu

I have already left a review raving about this place. Hence why I decided to go back. Got noodles with tofu, and paid an extra 20thb for extra tofu. The tofu was sour, and it wasn’t from a sauce. The tofu was off. I told them but got little in response
