Great fine dining but limited vegan options

Lovely ambience, but the place has limited vegan options. You also have to double check what options are indeed vegan as some are not properly marked on the menu. Several items marked vegan on the menu, were actually not vegan. So you must check. For example, the bao is not vegan, though it is marked vegan on the menu. We had two separate waiters, but only one understood the concept of vegan food. I asked him to double check with the chef.

Since I went with some non-vegan friends, it catered to both diets. They really enjoyed the food. It was presented beautifully and most was tasty.

There are enough options that can be made vegan, but as stated before: you need to double check. I had the Tub Tim Grob, the only vegan dessert option aside from Nannari sorbet, but I felt that it might have been more than just coconut cream mixed in since my stomach was uneasy after I had it.

The chef seemed open to making specific dishes vegan so I would venture another visit. I hope they revise their menu card or create a separate one for vegans. #Veganuary

Pros: Fine Dining ambience , Clean, New

Cons: Expensive , Limited vegan options , Mistakes on the menu, staff needs training

Eww. It’s terrible when they label vegan and it’s not or they don’t know. False advertising and like tricking the customer. I wonder how many people ate it and didn’t know. That’s a good safety concern too. I’m amazed you still gave them 4 ⭐️. Great heads up. Thanks for your review 🧐👌
