Vegan Ramen

There was only one vegan dish on the menu when we visited - a vegan mushroom ramen. It had a mixture of many types of mushrooms, was tasty and satisfying. I enjoyed my meal much more than my Omni dinner companion. Cocktails were really excellent.

Cons: Only one vegan dish on menu.

Food is very blah, difficult to find vegan options

I visited Koumi tonight and asked for help ordering as vegan options were not marked on the extensive menu. The first staff member said "no meat". I explained to two staff members that vegan meant no meat but also no eggs, dairy or animal products, so no butter. Several minutes after I placed the order, a staff member asked how they could cook my order without butter. I asked if they had oil. The staff member said yes, was I okay with oil?
I ordered the Thai pineapple fried rice as recommended by the previous reviewer. It was very bland and tasteless compared to a similar dish at a Thai restaurant. If I were to ever dine here again, I would order Japanese or Vietnamese food. However, I am not in a hurry to return.

Pros: Friendly staff, Restaurant appeared clean

Cons: Staff not knowledgeable about vegan options, Food was not very tasty

pineapple Thai fried rice

My first time going here I told the staff I was vegan he offered the
Pineapple fried rice(ask for no butter) it was wonderful!!!! I asked him to hold the cashews and raisins because I dong like them. The plate is a huge serving and you can’t eat all at once... I also asked to add mushrooms they were soooo good!!!
