Serves meat, vegan options available. Tavern offering vegan and vegetarian plates using fresh, baked and fried vegetables. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-12:00am.
The food was excellent, they have a variety of vegan options for a reasonable price. We paid around 23€ for three dishes and two drinks. The stuff is very child friendly. They have special chairs for babies.
Headed here after a beach visit and we were ravenous. Great views and helpful staff who explained the vegan options to me. All the usual Greek restaurant fare: loads of different salads, dolmades, stuffed peppers, eggplants and tomatoes, fries. My eggplants were delectable and we were treated to a small sweet with some shots of Raki. Great views to the monastery and sea. The modern bathrooms were immaculate. We accidentally parked on the vacant lot before the restaurant which is actually parking for the restaurant over the road. I would recommend stopping here for a meal.
My husband and I spent a few days in south western Crete and were delighted to find this lovely taverna near Elofonisi beach with several vegan options. The vlita (boiled greens) were absolutely delicious, with a hint of sweetness balanced with lemon, and the dolmadakia (stuffed vine leaves) were the best we have had in all of Greece. There are several salads to choose from, grilled vegetables which were also delicious, as well as an abundance of vegetarian options for those who eat cheese. We finished our meals with complimentary halva (a sweet oil cake) which was also vegan and incredible!
