My family have been customers at Korma Sutra since the beginning, and with Mr. Singh since he was co-owner at Taj Mahal back when it was great. He is an amazing owner who focuses on his customers and the food is always wonderful. For people who judge the buffet against other restaurant's dinner menu, I say come back and have dinner here, the already great buffet food gets even better. Sometimes I have to eat at Korma 3 times in a week because everyone I go to lunch with wants to eat there.
Read moreIf you are looking for the best Indian in KC, and some of the best service of any restaurant, this is the place! I travel a fair amount for work, both domestic and international, and I would rank Korma as one of my favorite Indian restaurants anywhere.
Over the years I have been transitioning from Omni to Vegetarian to Vegan due to cardiac health. Along this journey, Korma Sutra has provided me with options the entire time. With a recent focus on cutting out dairy and egg, they make bread for me without ghee, they bring me mango juice instead of lassi, they bring me vegan versions of food that is on the buffet (without charging anything extra). If you explain to them what your needs are, they will do their best to accommodate.
Mr. Singh has gone above and beyond in giving my son new foods to try, and having our favorite dishes brought out if they are not on the buffet. Not once have we been charged more than the regular buffet or dinner price.
Pros: Wonderful service and family friendly, Easy to make adjustments and substitutions, Lot's of options for mixed parties (V and non)
Cons: Not 100% vegetarian or vegan, Some days the buffet has only 1 or 2 Vegan options, Many people don't know to ask for options
