Incredible food presentation - Edit
A great place to go for a special occasion. We were there for dinner. The food presentation from appetizers to desserts is the best we've ever seen for a vegan restaurant. The taste, however, was a bit hit or miss.
Read moreThe imitation egg salad was very unique and delicious, but may be too close to the real thing for some. Our main courses were just OK and had too much salt.
Our desert combo platter was the highlight of the evening - light, flavorful, fruity, beautifully presented.
They have an extensive wine list.
Pros: Presentation, Deserts, Service
Cons: Expensive, Too much sodium

Fine dining experience for those who want to celebrate something special and don‘t mind spending a little more. Incredibly creative, beautifully served and absolutely delicious. Eating out hardly ever leaves me mesmerized, but this one experience did. Been dreaming of this meal ever since.

Fantastic tastes - fine dining in vegan - Edit
Kopps is actually one of just two vegan fine dining places in Berlin, and it lives up to its promise. Evening meals are classy & delicious the brunch is really filling with a lot of lunch options. I really don't get people writing negative reviews about 'no tap water for free' or 'small portions' - that's a bit like going to a classical concert and complaining that it's 'boring' as they don't blast pop music at you (!).
Read moreOrdering tap water in any restaurant im Germany is *completely* unusual, so I feel like this is measuring them on an unfair standard, also fine dining isn't known for kebab-style heaps of food. It makes me really sad that people seem to go there just to complain, since it is so clear that the team puts a lot of love and care in the food and the service, and the taste is superb. And no, I'm not paid to write this or connected to the restaurant in any way, I'm just not happy how people would complain about things that are not fair. They make lovely food and I'll be back.
Pros: Refined cuisine, friendly service, changing menu, , Fine dining in vegan

Vegan food for non vegans - Edit
Apealing vegan food that tastes great to omnivores, this is the place to take your sceptical relatives and friends.

Brunch a little overpriced - Edit
It's ~€20 including tip.
Read moreI would say it's fine, but maybe not exactly what is expected. I'd say the food is lunchier than brunchy-- there's tiny (and imo gummy) pancakes and scrambled tofu and porridge. But there's also just a bunch of random lunchy sides (lots of grains-based salads). I personally figured I was paying for a traditional breakfast, veganised, but I paid for a random assortment of foods (many of which felt like something I could find elsewhere, cheaper, and just as tasty). But it also includes dessert, so that's pretty awesome.
In Berlin, I don't think it's good value. For NYC / visitors, I think it's decently valued to slightly overpriced (depending on if we ignore the lack of a single free beverage and that what they sell is mostly stuff that's easier to make or find cheaply veganised, at least for me).
I might go back, but for their dinner, not brunch.

Pros: All you can eat (despite the tiny plates)

Excellent experience! - Edit
Honestly I visited this place sort of by accident after having a few beers. It was the closest vegan place that showed up. I had been out walking all day and just wanted some food. When I arrived I realized I was slightly underdressed for the situation. However the staff did not treat me any differently!

Incredible - Edit
The Sunday-buffet is phenomenal. I've had my fair share of brunches, but this one was hands down the best so far. They have a real nice selection of hot and cold food as well as desserts and pancakes. There's just something for everyone and the staff are friendly and welcoming as you'd expect. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed

Can’t remember eating tastier food, ever. - Edit
I’ve been vegan for about two years, and before that vegetarian for twenty five years. I simply can’t remember ever eating food tastier than what we’ve had tonight. It was incredible. We both had the seven course taster menu, probably because it’s so rare to have so many options, and we didn’t want to miss trying anything. Dish after dish, full of taste and imagination.

Fine vegan dining in Mitte - Edit
Food is always great and inventive (including wines and spirits), and the restaurant offers a fine dining experience that few vegan places do, with very unique and stylish decor/atmosphere. Great to take non-vegans who think vegan places are always lower-end!

Get together - Edit
From Monday to Thursday, kopps offers the get together: come to their restaurant at 6PM, get seated with the other people that are there and chat with them while enjoying a three course menu for 19€ (which is incredibly cheap compared to their normal fares).

oke but expensive - Edit
The food was oke but not compared to the price. By far the most expensive vegan restaurant we visited in berlin.

Great food, a few issues - Edit
First - food was amazing. If you want a fine dining experience without the pretentious people then it’s perfect. I felt comfortable in jeans and a tshirt. My partner and I shared the bread&egg salad (amazing) and each had a main and large glass of wine - was €70. Yes a lot of money. They also gave small snack at start and end of meal. We were very full. The bad stuff - they didn’t have our reservation stored, and it took quite a while to get our food. But service was very kind either way! Would go back. Charging for water however means they will never get 5 stars to me. It’s not enviro friendly AT ALL to have new bottles (even glass) for every customer. That is absurd.

Cons: Expensive , CHARGE FOR WATER? , A bit salty
