Plentiful & Delicious Vegan Options

We had a late lunch here while on vacation. We stumbled on this location because the nearby Chinese restaurant was carry out only and we really wanted a sit down meal. We were sure pleased that we stuck our head in and asked about vegan options!

Although the menu did not explicitly tag anything as vegan, the server was knowledgeable and very quickly came up with a wide range of possibilities. The menu’s “Asian” section had a number of curries, and other Thai-inspired dishes, for which you could choose various types of meat or tofu as the protein or select extra vegetables. Although no fake meats where offered, the waitress readily could identify other dishes scattered across the menu for which tofu could be substituted for meat. the menu offered edamame or vegetarian spring rolls (I think), and the waitress identified several possibilities that the kitchen could make That were never referenced on the menu.

I ate a vegetable curry that was really the bomb! My husband also really enjoyed his tofu teriyaki. He was given a choice of steamed tofu or crispy tofu. The crispy version that he requested was executed superbly. Our meat, eating companion enjoyed a main dish salad with chicken.

Prices were a little steep for what we usually spend for lunch. But this became our main meal for the day, and it was worth every penny.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Nice atmosphere, Great outdoor seating
