open till 6pm, not totally vegan - Edit
I went here today, my second visit after 2012. I asked the staff about the opening hours and it's true what the previous review said They open at 8:30am and they close at 6pm, on Sundays they close at 5pm.
Read moreSome of the breads and pastries they sell, have eggs, but the dishes in the buffet are vegan.
I didn't like the taste of the sauce in chopsuey.

Chinese-style Cafeteria - Edit
Kong Ai serves affordable Chinese-style meals (often for sharing). The food is a little on the bland side however, they're made fresh. Their siopao is good and the crispy eel.

Simple but tasty vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
One of the few veggie resto in Davao City, Mindanao province. The food is very Chinese in flavor. I talk with the owner and she's a Taoist. They serve vegan and lacto-vegetarian dish. The place is crowded with normal Filipino employees especially during lunch time. They have healthy products, dry foods and frozen items. Owner is friendly and courteous. Very accessible location within China Town district.
