Small, mostly organic bakery. Serves a vegan breakfast sandwich with house-made hummus and vegetables as well as an energy bar with oat, coconut and cranberries. Bread is all vegan and also offers raw balls and sometimes cinnamon buns. Has recently started selling both vegan pralines and chocolate bars. Accepts cash. Open Mon-Fri 07:00-17:00, Sat 08:00-15:00. Closed Sun.

An agreeable business - Edit

I want my fruit & veg organic, and so I buy mostly at Gryningen and Rot Södermalm. Unlike a friend of mine, I'm not all that picky when it comes to bread though. After all, I just eat it in the mornings, when I'm barely awake.. so it doesn't really matter how great it tastes. That said, it ought to be organic too! This makes Genuin a good option, as around 95% of their ingredients fall into that category. Cheapskate or not, I'm not willing to pay 60 sek or more for a loaf.. but thankfully Genuin have a section of day-old loaves they sell for 30 sek, which are good enough for me despite being packaged in plastic, uh.
In terms of sweet options, the description above may not be up to date. .but they do offer a couple of things, such as raspberry caves (hallongrottor in Swedish) and fairly luxurious chocolate bars from Malmö Chokladfabrik.
It would be great if they could make vegan items more of a priority, as sometimes they must be pre-ordered, for example during semla season. Either way, I'll be happy to try whatever this genuine business comes up with.
