Yummy. Would recommend!

Friendly staff, delicious food. The portion size is a little bit small for the price point but I understand vegan food is always a little bit pricier and harder to find.

Was allright but overall lacked in taste

Healthy meal, but i wouldnt eat here again. Not a great tasting meal, and the service was not the best, we felt the lady serving us was rushing it, and we kind of felt like she wanted us out asap. After our meal she rushed over and removed our plates and slappes a dessert menu on the table, and a brief moment later she came down and said "order" and we said no thank you. When we stood up from the table to leave she rushed over and began removing our drinks and cleaning the table, and there were only a very few people in the restaurant, and we diddnt even spend that much time there, as we generally never do, also we do know its not great etiquette in Japan to sit for too long.

Pros: Healty, Nice wall design

Cons: Taste, Service, Price

Great spot - Asian vegan so no onion/garlic

I really liked this place and it’s super convenient to akihabara. The flavors are mild because Buddhist vegan has no onion or garlic. The set meal with the fried stuff was great, would come back.

Traditional delicious lunch cuisine

We went there for lunch. Firstly and almost as usual didnt find it straight because it is a bit hidden in a big nice shop next to other cafes. Food did not dissapoint, very delicious. Also had the macha cheese cake which tasts very unique.

Under the station and through the shop

Komaki shokudo is a spacious restaurant with good service. A somewhat limited menu although a few nice looking desserts.

Bit tasteless

Don't mind paying more for good food but this was pretty pricey for a relatively small portion (27k ¥ for the omurice) and honestly wasn't ll that great.

They tried to make it healthy I guess, but honestly with stuff like omurice just give me the plain version with vegan egg on top instead of this.

The set menu was a bit better but still quite bland and not worth the cost imo.

Pros: Location

Cons: Taste, Speed

Agree 100% with this. I diddnt find the taste of experience here as good as the many reviews praising this to the skies. It was okay, but not something i would recommend or go back and eat

Fine and simple

We had the udon noodles, the curry, the “omelette” with rice and matcha cheese cake. The food was good but a little average taste wise, no complaints but also not very special. It surprised us that this meal was our most expensive in Tokyo, not that it was expensive but compared to other places where we got more value for money.

Delicious shojin ryori

I had the fried kuruma fu set and it was so delicious, very flavourful and crispy. The desserts are also really good both the matcha cheese cake and the chocolate mousse were creamy and not too sweet!

Average shojin ryori

Solid choice for shojin ryori (temple cuisine) near the Akihabara Electric Town. Food could have been more flavorful and docked star for slow service, but still a good meal.

Bon resto

Les menus changent le midi et le soir, les glaces ne sont pas disponible que le soir. Les udon ne se font plus.

little hard to find but worth it!

It’s not quite where it shows on Google Maps, it is under the tracks and inside a small building. Look at street photos shown for accuracy.

I had the curry and it was incredible. A bit pricey compared to normal restaurants but it was such a deluxe meal, it was worth it. The owner is very kind and the atmosphere is wonderful. They have a special lunch menu that is a bit cheaper than normal but overall quite reasonably priced regardless.

Pros: Quality of food, Taste, Overall meal

Dango Delight

After a few days of conbini onigiri, it was great to get some real food again in Tokyo. Lovely food and fast service (it was quite empty when we came). A highlight for us was the roast-your-own dango. Probably poisonous fumes from the cute little cooker, but totally worth the experience for melty hot dango.

Pros: Food was hearty , Nice atmosphere under the train tracks

Wonderful shojin ryori!

Wonderful assortment of Japanese dishes. High quality food, and fully vegetarian. Hearty meal - often times in Japan found myself eating meals lacking in something or the other, but this meal was complete and delicious.
Staff was wonderful, and they asked us for feedback before we left! We both appreciated that and were happy to provide it.

Pros: Fully vegetarian menu, Great staff
