Wonderful ramen in small café - Edit
This café was very welcoming and I had an amazing udon dish with a fresh ginger ale. The waitress spoke very good English. I went on a Sunday evening and the café was quite empty with plenty of seating available. They also sell ingredients and a (Japanese language) recipe book.
Read moreNote I found the café quite hard to find, it is inside CHABARA. There is no sign for the café from the street.
Pros: Welcoming atmosphere, Fantastic food

I came at 6pm on Sunday and many items were sold out. Only a limited selection remained. What I did eat was good!

Relaxing Repast - Edit
This is a Lovely dinner spot with a delightful staff. There was an English menu with photos. Several items were unavailable but there was enough to chose from. Vegan diners are used to limited selection so having more than one thing to choose is a treat for me! The food was tasty and plentiful by the time you add the multiple dishes served. I did have room for soy ice cream that was delicious!

Fully vegan, delicious food! - Edit
Not the cheapest option, but well worth it! Everything on the menu is fully vegan and the staff was exceptionally kind! Though you might need to wait a little, until you get a table as the store is a bit small.

Bit expensive but great food - Edit
Loved the meals here, and so thankful to find a vegan restaurant so central in Akihabara.
Read moreIt was a bit expensive compared to other dining locations, and I had to constantly refill my own water even though it was table service. It looked like two woman were doing all roles of the restaurant, however would stay mainly in the kitchen.
Pros: Traditional food
Cons: Expensive

Worth the effort to find it!! - Edit
Wonderful food. Calm atmosphere in spite of trains which you can't really hear, and people outside. Friendly staff, little English but more than enough to get what you want. I had a curry plate. Delish....

Good food but a bit expensive - Edit
I was expecting more of this place after I heard that the owner is the daughter of the famous Shojin chef Mari Fuji, who is teaching cooking classes in Kamakura and all around the world. The food was good, but I had to wait quite a bit for my order, and I found the portion was small for the price. But I want to try another time.

Delicious Vegan Meal and Great Service - Edit
We were in Akihabara and found Komaki Shokudo on Happy Cow and it did NOT disappoint. Service was amazing, English friendly, and perfect portion size.

Excellent food - Edit
Simple food?? This was a feast! A lot of excellent food for a very reasonable price. I got there at 12:30 and got a table right away. Might be a good idea to book ahead if you're more than 2 people as the space is small. Fast and friendly service, and in English too.

Simple yet delicious! - Edit
I came in solo, didn’t need a reservation and was seated immediately (it was 12:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday) the menu only had 3 options so I got the traditional set (maybe I’ll come back for the curry set) IT WAS BOMB! Tofu katsu, purple grains rice, pickled veggies, miso soup, and two other small dishes I don’t even know what they were LOL. It was all so yummy. I’ll be back!

Delicious and comforting traditional flavors - Edit
This place has a small changing menu with delicious flavors. My favorite set has been a soy karaage set. They often have many small portions of various things to try and it is nice especially if you don’t typically eat Japanese food. You can try many things.

Yummy. Would recommend! - Edit
Friendly staff, delicious food. The portion size is a little bit small for the price point but I understand vegan food is always a little bit pricier and harder to find.

Was allright but overall lacked in taste - Edit
Healthy meal, but i wouldnt eat here again. Not a great tasting meal, and the service was not the best, we felt the lady serving us was rushing it, and we kind of felt like she wanted us out asap. After our meal she rushed over and removed our plates and slappes a dessert menu on the table, and a brief moment later she came down and said "order" and we said no thank you. When we stood up from the table to leave she rushed over and began removing our drinks and cleaning the table, and there were only a very few people in the restaurant, and we diddnt even spend that much time there, as we generally never do, also we do know its not great etiquette in Japan to sit for too long.

Great spot - Asian vegan so no onion/garlic - Edit
I really liked this place and it’s super convenient to akihabara. The flavors are mild because Buddhist vegan has no onion or garlic. The set meal with the fried stuff was great, would come back.
